Consultations of the Spokespersons of the Foreign Ministries of the SCO Member States Held in Beijing 17.07.2025
Beijing, July 16, 2025 – The annual consultations of the information services of the foreign ministries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states were held at the SCO Headquarters. The event was attended by Aibek Smadiyarov, Chairman of the Committee of International Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.During the consultations, representatives of the SCO Secretariat summarized the outcomes of information-related activities over the past year. The participants exchanged views on the accumulated experience in implementing joint projects, emphasizing the importance of transparency and promptness in disseminating official materials.Chairman Smadiyarov noted that “coordination of content and synchronization of key messages help strengthen trust within the Organization and build a unified information front in the international arena.” He also expressed special gratitude to the Chinese side and the SCO Secretariat for the excellent organization of the event and the creation of a constructive platform to strengthen information cooperation.The Chinese side presented an overview of media initiatives undertaken during its current chairmanship of the SCO, as well as the plan for media coverage of the upcoming SCO Summit in Tianjin. 16 July, Baar - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Switzerland Kairat Sarzhanov visited Glencore's headquarters and met with the CEO Gary Nagle, as well as senior staff of the international trading company's Nickel-Zinc Department.During the meeting, the parties discussed Glencore's current activities at its industrial sites in East Kazakhstan, Akmola and Ulytau regions of Kazakhstan, and plans to modernize production facilities and implement the best sustainable practices in the mining industry. Particular focus was given to utilizing Glencore's technological expertise and Kazakhstan's interest in the exploration of rare earth metals.The management of the Swiss company confirmed its interest in further development of joint projects, as well as its commitment to environmental, social and governance sustainability principles (ESG). The «Single Digital Window» service is now available in the eGov Business mobile application. This feature offers users new ways to interact with KTZ JSC conveniently and effectively regarding logistics services. The main purpose of the service is to enhance the quality of logistics services. The Single Digital Window enables users to manage contracts and obtain analytical data on their transactions using a variety of digital tools. Users can also send requests to a call center or via social media. In addition, customers can now not only easily request services, but also track the status of their shipments in real time and leave feedback on the quality of the service. To get the service, the user needs to:log in to the eGov Business mobile app and go to the «Services» section;select the service of KTZ JSC;  get acquainted with the functionality of the service.The introduction of the new functionality is an important step in improving the efficiency of logistics processes. Lecture in a yurt: A campaign on the theme "A drug-free future!" was held in Zhambyl region 16.07.2025
An anti-drug campaign was held at the "Zhuldyz" summer children's camp in Merki district under the slogan "A future without drugs!"
