Inspection and adjustment of pumping equipment, replacement of bearings, seals and other critical components are underway. In parallel, work is underway to replace the thermal insulation on old sections of the pipeline. By September 1, it is planned to complete the complete replacement of the insulation material, which will minimize heat loss and increase the energy efficiency of the systems. An inspection of almost three thousand valves - key elements for regulating the heat flow - is also underway. About 80 of them will be completely replaced in the near future. For facilities operating on solid fuel, the purchase of 1,650 tons of coal is planned. Thus, all heat supply sources will be provided with the necessary fuel reserves before the onset of cold weather. One of the significant projects this year is the replacement of more than 33 kilometers of heating mains in 137 sections of the city. These works will be completed by October 10. The work is especially active in the Kunshigys microdistrict, where almost half a kilometer of the pipeline is being modernized. The new pipes are resistant to corrosion and designed for higher pressure, which will increase the reliability of the entire system. In addition, within the framework of the national project, it is planned to completely modernize the main heat pipeline from TPP-3 to the main pumping station ONS-1. The total length of the updated networks will be 17 kilometers. The first stage of implementation is scheduled for 2025-2026, during which 4.5 kilometers will be modernized. This is one of the strategically important facilities, providing heat to a significant part of the residential and industrial areas of the city. The city authorities emphasize: the main goal of all the events is to create a reliable, safe and efficient heat supply system. Compared to previous years, it is worth noting significant progress in systematizing the care of city fountains. For example, 5-7 years ago, there were often cases in the city when fountains did not work for weeks due to breakdowns or lack of funding. However, in recent years, thanks to the efforts of local authorities and the implementation of the Comfortable City program, the infrastructure of water bodies has improved. Today, fountains are launched on time in the spring and summer and are serviced on a scheduled basis. Previously, similar events were held in other areas of Shymkent, but in a disjointed form. Today, the approach has become more systematic. Employees of the improvement department, together with contractors, develop fountain maintenance schedules, monitor service deadlines and keep records. This helps avoid unscheduled downtime and ensure the stable functioning of the entire water architecture of the city. The work in the Turansky district is part of a broader program aimed at improving the urban environment and developing green infrastructure. In the future, it is planned to introduce intelligent fountain control systems that will regulate operation depending on weather conditions and time of day, which will further save resources and increase operational efficiency. Thus, caring for city fountains is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also an important element of environmental sustainability, sanitary safety and the creation of a comfortable urban environment for residents and guests of Shymkent.

On July 18, 2025, an extended meeting of the Commission on Digitalization was held in Astana under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The central topic was the development of the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Kazakhstan in the context of the launch of the national supercomputer and the QazTech platform. Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev reported on the completion of the conversion of the government data center to the needs of a supercomputer. This powerful computing cluster will become the basis for the introduction of AI in public administration, healthcare, education and other key sectors. During the meeting, a plan for creating a full-fledged AI infrastructure was presented. The Concept for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for 2024–2029 was approved, as well as the draft law “On Artificial Intelligence”. The need for a regulatory framework for regulating the use of AI and protecting citizens' data was emphasized. In parallel, educational programs for training specialists in the field of AI are being implemented: AI Corporate, TUMO Center, AI People and others. This will provide the public and private sectors with qualified personnel capable of developing and implementing AI solutions in Kazakhstan. Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the QazTech platform, a new national digital environment designed for accelerated development of IT products. Thanks to the principles of modularity, security and cloud architecture, the implementation period for new solutions is reduced to 6 months, which previously took up to three years. The platform has already been tested for compliance with information security requirements, and its full launch is scheduled for August 2025. On the basis of QazTech, such solutions as a single Internet portal of government agencies, the Smart Bridge integration platform, the National Environmental Database and others are already functioning. Also in development are new generation digital assistants: e-agent, egov AI, AI therapist, tax helper, voice translator and AI service for supporting entrepreneurs. An important part of the agenda was the discussion of the creation of "Digital Transformation Maps" for all government agencies. The maps are being developed based on international practices, including the experience of Singapore, and are designed to simplify bureaucratic procedures, speed up the provision of services to the population and improve the efficiency of public administration. The new supercomputer installed in the Alem.cloud data center has become the largest in Central Asia. Its capacity enables the execution of complex analytical and computational tasks, including processing large amounts of data, process modeling, and machine learning. This technological achievement creates a solid foundation for scientific research, commercial projects, and optimization of the public sector. Compared to similar events of previous years, one can note a radical turn in the state's approach. In 2023–2024, digitalization in Kazakhstan was carried out mainly through individual electronic services and local automation. At that time, AI was considered more as a promising direction, but not as a priority. There was no infrastructure, no personnel base, no coordinating center. With the beginning of 2025, the country entered a new phase. In January, strategic seminars on AI and digitalization were held, but they were more theoretical. Only with the launch of the supercomputer in July and the start of QazTech's operation, Kazakhstan took a step from concept to real implementation. Today's level of technological maturity allows us to talk about the formation of a full-fledged artificial intelligence ecosystem. This affects not only the efficiency of public services, but also opens up new horizons for business, science, and education. The state has declared its readiness not just to follow trends, but to shape them - especially in the Central Asian region. Thus, July 18, 2025 can be considered a key date - the day when the digital infrastructure of the future was laid. The created platform and supercomputer will allow Kazakhstan to take a leading position in the IT industry of the region, as well as improve the quality of life of citizens through intelligent and fast solutions.

On July 10, 2025, another environmental cleanup took place in Shymkent as part of the national project "Taza Kazakhstan". The initiators were the office of the Akim of the Al-Farabi district and the local branch of the "AMANAT" party. The next cleanup took place on the bank of the Koshkar-Ata River - one of the main natural symbols of the city. More than 50 people took part in the event: Akimat employees, party members, representatives of public utilities and active citizens. Four units of special equipment were used to carry out the work. Together, the participants collected and removed almost 2 tons of garbage, cleared the riverbed of algae, and the banks of dead wood and household waste. Pedestrian areas and paths along the river were also treated, weeds were mown and excess tree branches were trimmed. The cleanup was not just a sanitary event, but also part of a broad environmental program aimed at improving the urban environment. According to the organizers, "Taza Kazakhstan" is not a one-time event, but consistent work to improve the level of environmental culture and preserve water resources. Participants note that the organization of such events has improved compared to previous years. For example, if in 2023–2024 such cleanups were more often timed to coincide with official holidays, now they have become regular and larger-scale. In the past, as a rule, they covered only the coastal zone, but now the work also affects the condition of the river itself, including the bottom and aquatic vegetation. Such events have a real impact on the environment: according to experts, water quality has improved, pollution levels have decreased, and some species of plants and aquatic organisms sensitive to pollution have returned. It should be noted that Koshkar-Ata is an important ecosystem fed by underground springs, and its condition affects the climate and biological diversity of the entire central part of the city. In addition, eco-cleaning days allow residents to be involved in caring for nature. People not only clean up, but also receive environmental education. The organizers plan to further expand such initiatives: holding lectures, involving schoolchildren and students in projects, installing additional containers for separate waste collection. Shymkent is one of the fastest growing megacities in the country, and the issue of environmental sustainability is especially acute here. In the conditions of dense development and increasing pressure on water and green areas, caring for natural objects such as Koshkar-Ata is not just an initiative, but an urgent need. The clean-up on July 10 became part of a general series of events supporting the course towards cleanliness and order in the city. Comparatively recently, two years ago, the clean-up on Koshkar-Ata attracted fewer participants and did not affect the technical condition of the riverbed. Now, thanks to the support of the party, the akimat and concerned residents, the environmental situation here is gradually improving. The results of the campaign clearly show that only through joint efforts is it possible to preserve nature in the conditions of modern urbanization. Shymkent residents have proven that they care about the appearance of their hometown and its ecological future.

On the eve of Fisherman's Day, which is celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on July 13, an environmental campaign to clean up the city's territory was held in Shymkent. The initiator was the city branch of the AMANAT party together with Zhastar Ruhy volunteers, representatives of public utilities and activists of district and city branches of the party. The next event within the framework of the traditional Clean Thursday initiative took place on the bank of the Koshkar-Ata River. More than 50 participants gathered to contribute to the common cause of environmental protection. They cleared the riverbed and banks of garbage, uprooted weeds, and carried out sanitary pruning of trees. The goal was not only to improve the appearance of the city's natural corner, but also to draw the attention of city residents to the importance of environmental culture and personal responsibility for the cleanliness of their native land. Since the beginning of 2025, 26 events have been organized within the framework of the Clean Thursday initiative. Together, about 2,500 people collected and removed almost 24 tons of garbage, and planted more than 200 trees. This initiative is part of the national project Clean Kazakhstan, implemented on the instructions of the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The project is aimed at increasing environmental awareness, forming a caring attitude towards nature and improving the quality of life in cities. A distinctive feature of the action in Shymkent was its timing to the Fisherman's Day, which gave the event additional symbolism. Fishing is closely connected with water resources, and on this day the organizers decided to remind about the importance of protecting rivers and lakes from pollution. Thus, ecosenbilik became not only a labor, but also an educational initiative. Such events have been held regularly in Shymkent for several years. For example, in 2023, on the eve of World Environment Day, a similar cleanup was held on the territory of the Badam reservoir, where more than 3 tons of garbage were collected. In 2022, eco-cleaning was carried out along the Zhideli canal, where volunteers, students and city service employees also took part. The main difference of the current initiative is sustainability and regularity. Thanks to systematic work, "Clean Thursday" in Shymkent has acquired the status of a permanent city tradition, and participation in it is a sign of social maturity. The organizers emphasize that such events foster a caring attitude towards nature not only among young people, but also among all categories of the population. It is in such actions that a real culture of responsibility for the environment is formed - not only in words, but also in actions. Maintaining cleanliness and improving natural areas within the city is not just an environmental issue, but also a guarantee of health, comfort and tourist attractiveness of Shymkent. The AMANAT party emphasized that work in this direction will be continued. The plans include holding similar events in other areas of the city, including on the outskirts and in places of spontaneous dumps. In addition, it is planned to more actively involve schoolchildren and students in order to form environmental responsibility from an early age. In the context of climate change and increasing pressure on the urban environment, such actions acquire special significance. Garbage collection, tree planting, and educational work among the population are a contribution to the common cause of nature conservation and sustainable development. And, as the practice of Shymkent shows, even small steps, if they are taken regularly and in a coordinated manner, give a noticeable result.
