During a working visit to the Auliekol district, the Akim of the Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov visited the villages of Novonezhinka, Ozernoye and Amankaragay. It is time to direct efforts to the improvement and development of villages," Kumar Aksakalov noted.He emphasized the importance of the personal responsibility of each entrepreneur for the land where he lives and works.Sports for allA new sports and fitness complex was officially opened in Novonezhinka village.The modern building became part of a large-scale project to develop sports infrastructure in the region.The complex is designed for 48 people per shift and provides opportunities for playing football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, kazaksha kures, togyzkumalak and chess.— Over the past two years, 17 sports facilities have been built in the region, and we continue to develop this network. The main thing is to involve as many children and young people as possible in sports and a healthy lifestyle, — the regional akim emphasized.New kindergarten in AmankaragayOne of the important social facilities opened during the trip was the Aynalayin kindergarten in Amankaragay village.The kindergarten is designed for 145 children, with 6 groups for children aged 2 to 5 working in Kazakh and Russian.The institution has created safe, comfortable and modern conditions for the development and education of children. Astana, May 4, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov and Chairman of the Management Board of “NC “Kazakh Invest” JSC Yerzhan Yelekeyev held a meeting with Camilla Mellander, Director General for Trade Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, and representatives of leading Swedish companies.The meeting aimed to strengthen economic ties and expand investment cooperation. The Kazakh side emphasized that Sweden is an important partner in Europe and expressed readiness for the practical implementation of joint projects in priority sectors.Among the companies expressing interest in Kazakhstan were: Ericsson, a global leader in telecommunications equipment; Epiroc, a manufacturer of mining equipment; Sandvik Mining, specializing in drilling and mineral processing technologies; ESAB AB, an expert in welding solutions; as well as Olofsfors, IBG Aero, and other companies with high industrial and technological expertise.The Kazakh side noted that the country is prepared to offer Swedish investors a stable macroeconomic environment, government support measures, and institutional assistance at all stages of project implementation.
