A social and charitable event «New Year's Miracle: The Mystery of the Christmas Tree Ornaments in the Museum-Reserve's Collection» was held at the East Kazakhstan Region Museum-Reserve as part of the «Law and Order» program for students of the Main Secondary Boarding School of the Ust-Kamenogorsk City Education Department. During the event, the students learned about the history of Christmas tree ornaments, the development of design, texture, and material from the 1920s to the 1980s, using the museum-reserve's collection as a reference. The museum exhibits delighted the students: a Santa Claus made of sawdust from the 1930s, massive ornaments made of thick glass from the late 1940s, clothespin ornaments from the 1950s, and popular plastic toys from the 1960s. Due to the introduction of the new Tax Code and the transition of taxpayers to a special tax regime (SSR) based on a simplified declaration, cases of refusals to accept notifications of the transition to this regime have become more frequent.Refusals are generated by the information system of the State Revenue Committee due to non-compliance of the declared type of economic activity (OKED) with the requirements of the current General Classifier of Economic Activities.The reason for the refusal is the use by taxpayers of the OKED codes, which have been changed or excluded from the classifier.Thus, by orders of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 16, 2023 No. 393-NK and November 28, 2023 No. 468-NK, amendments No. 2 and No. 3 to the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan 03-2019 "General Classifier of Economic Activities" were approved, effective April 1, 2024.In particular: - the OKED 86900 code has been abolished and replaced by codes 86901 and 86909; - code 62022 has been excluded from the classifier and other codes have also undergone changes.In this regard, before submitting a notification of the transition to the Tax accounting System, taxpayers must bring registration data in line with the current version of the OKED classifier by submitting the following documents:- individual entrepreneurs – notifications about the start of activities as sole proprietors (regarding changes in registration data);- to legal entities – applications for changes to information through registration authorities or through the Correspondent's Office of the E-Statistics system.After updating the type of economic activity and subject to compliance with all the conditions for the application of the Tax Code on the basis of a simplified declaration, the taxpayer has the right to re-submit a notification on the applicable tax regime.We remind you that the notification of the transition to the simplified declaration regime must be submitted no later than March 1, 2026.If the notification is not provided, the taxpayer will be recognized as applying the generally established taxation procedure from January 1, 2026.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd-pavlodar/press/news/details/1140930?lang=kk

Servicemen of military unit 3660 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan detained a civilian carrying a bladed weapon while ensuring public order in the city of Konaev.During patrol duty, the patrol group leader, Junior Sergeant Azamat Baigul, together with patrolmen Private Dosmyrza Myrzakhmet and Private Beksultan Mailybay, were performing service in their assigned area, ensuring the safety and peace of city residents.While on duty, the National Guard servicemen noticed a suspicious man who attempted to flee upon seeing the patrol. After stopping the individual, identifying themselves, and conducting a preliminary search, the servicemen discovered a long-bladed knife (machete) on his person.The detainee was handed over to officers of the Konaev City Police Department for further investigation. Applications for participation in the competition for educational grants of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools are accepted on the eGov.kz portal and via the eGov Mobile application. Applications for participation in the competition may be submitted by the parents or legal guardians of children who are studying in grade 6 at the time of application.For the first time, the submission of applications for admission and participation in the competitive selection for enrollment in NIS under an educational grant has been automated through the eGov.kz portal and the eGov Mobile application. The application submission period started on January 5 and will end on February 9, 2026. Applications may also be submitted offline through the admissions committees of NIS branches (for more details, please visit the NIS website).The competition is held for admission to grade 7. Participation is open exclusively to students who are enrolled in grade 6 at general education institutions. Re-enrollment in the same grade is not allowed. Students currently enrolled in grades 7–9, as well as applicants with previously submitted applications or existing absences, shall not be permitted to participate in the competition.To use the service on the eGov.kz portal, the user needs to:- sign in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the "For Citizenry" - "Education" - "Secondary Education";- select the service “Submission of documents for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s ‘Örken’ Educational Grant Competition”;- complete the application form and upload the necessary documents:- sign the request using one of the available signing methods;- in your personal account (in "History of Obtained Services" section) familiarize with a notification on application processing status, which will be sent within the specified time. The service can be accessed via the eGov Mobile application in the “eGov – Public Services” section - “Education.”The service is provided free-of-charge. In cases where a child has not studied in Kazakhstan, when submitting an application the user must upload an electronic copy of the child’s academic record or a certificate from the school indicating the grade level, academic year, and date of issuance of the document, as well as a digital color photograph of the student in 3×4 format that meets the established requirements.
