The norms on the unity of the state, the integrity, indivisibility and inviolability of the territory of Kazakhstan remain unchanged - Constitutional Commission 28.01.2026
The norms on the unity of the state, the integrity, indivisibility and inviolability of the territory of Kazakhstan remain unchanged - Constitutional Commission It is proposed to introduce a provision into the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan that would provide for the introduction of a special legal regime in the financial sector for certain territories or the possibility of creating so-called "cities of rapid development." According to him, this concerns the activities of the International Financial Center in Astana and the development of the city of Alatau. These measures are aimed at ensuring effective economic development of the republic. At the same time, Bakhyt Nurmukhanov noted that the proposed norm should be considered in close connection with the main provisions of the Constitution. According to these provisions, the administrative-territorial structure of the country is determined solely by constitutional law. "The norm on the unity of the state, the integrity, indivisibility and inviolability of the territory of Kazakhstan remains unchanged," the Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court noted.
Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/economy/press/news/details/1150049?lang=kk
