In Almaty, in the Lower Five-Year Plan microdistrict, work on laying engineering networks has been completed: new asphalt has been laid on 40 streets 25.11.2024
In the Turksib district of Almaty, a large-scale reconstruction of water supply and sanitation systems in the Lower Five-Year Plan microdistrict has been completed. As part of the project, 115 km of water supply and 32 km of sewer networks were built, which will significantly improve the quality of public services provided. At the moment, new asphalt pavement has already been laid on 40 streets after laying engineering communications. The construction of networks has been completed on the remaining 11 streets and the roadway is being prepared for asphalting. The full completion of the project is planned by December 15 this year. At the same time, the contractor is responsible for the quality of the work performed for five years and undertakes to repair any damage at its own expense during this period. The work covered 51 streets, and 4,800 subscribers received access to the updated infrastructure - about 25 thousand residents who had not previously been connected to the central water supply and sewerage networks."Asphalt was laid in the lower part. Below Bekmakhanov Street, all roads are paved," said one of the residents of the neighborhood."They carried out the sewerage system, carried out a new water supply. Everyone is happy. There were nuances, but everything was fixed," another local resident expressed gratitude.Previously, the deterioration of the neighborhood's water supply networks exceeded 80%, which caused difficulties in eliminating accidents. Now the citizens living in the area can count on stable water supply and improved infrastructure.Recall that in order to solve these problems in 2022, on behalf of Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, construction and installation work on the project "Construction of sewer networks and reconstruction of water supply networks in the Lower Five-year Plan in the Turksib district of Almaty" was started. However, due to the identification of new subscribers not included in the project, adjustments were made in 2023.
