In accordance with the Rules for compensating property losses incurred by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as a result of the 2024 flooding, local executive bodies are actively engaged in receiving and reviewing applications from SMEs seeking reimbursement for the damages sustained.To compensate for entrepreneurs' property losses, the Government has allocated 12.1 billion tenge from itsAs of October 1, 2024, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have submitted 764 applications totaling 15 billion tenge. Positive decisions have been made on 630 applications totaling approximately 12 billion tenge, with payments fully disbursed for 615 applications (80.4% of the total number of applications) amounting to over 10.1 billion tenge.Decisions to deny compensation payments have been made for 30 applications. For the remaining affected entities, assessment and estimation work is ongoing.
