On February 9, 2025, the Gala Concert of the regional singing competition «Armysyndar, adamdar!» based on the poems of the famous poet Mukagali Makatayev was held at the Palace of Culture named after I. Zhansugurov in Taldykorgan.The organizers of the competition are the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Zhetisu region and the regional center for Folk Art.The purpose of the competition is to promote the poetic heritage of the famous poet Mukagali Makatayev, who managed to express the most subtle spiritual strings of the Kazakh people in his poetic lines. There is no record of the number of composers who have written songs based on the poet's poems on a variety of topics. These songs have become the property of the country today and have been passed down from generation to generation. And the main goal is to identify new songs and performers based on the poems of M.Makataev, to increase interest in art among young people.
