New York, 7 April 2025 — The United Nations Disarmament Commission (UNDC) opened its annual session today at UN Headquarters in New York. This universal forum brings together Member States to address critical issues of international security. The 2025 session, chaired by Paraguay, will focus on two priority topics: nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, and challenges associated with emerging technologies.
