Промышленность остается основным драйвером экономического роста: по итогам 2024 года ее доля в ВВП составила 25,7%. За январь - май 2025 года отрасль выросла на 6,4%. Однако темпы снижаются – еще месяц назад прирост был 6,6%. Главная причина – замедление в обрабатывающей промышленности, несмотря на рост добычи. Снижение индекса промышленного производства фиксируется в трех регионах: Восточно-Казахстанской области (90,4%), Улытау (96,2%) и Костанайской (97,6%).Отставание от планов в обработке связано прежде всего с металлургией, которая занимает 40% в структуре обрабатывающей промышленности. На совещании также рассмотрели потенциал роста в других сегментах — машиностроении, пищевой, химической и нефтеперерабатывающей промышленности.Еще одна отрасль с активным темпом роста – строительство. При росте в 15,4% за 5 месяцев объем работ составил 2 трлн тенге. Однако в двух регионах – Атырауской и Улытауской областях – фиксируется отставание. В Атырау (43,2% от плана) темпы снизились из-за приостановки работ на заводе в рамках проекта ТШО, в Улытау (78,4%) – из-за сокращения строительства и ремонта объектов в горнодобывающей сфере.В секторе жилищного строительства стоит задача ввести в строй в этом году 19 млн квадратных метров жилья. Repair of the Kostanay – Rudny road: safer, faster, more comfortable 14.06.2025
The step–by–step modernization of the KAZ19 Kostanay–Rudny –Denisovka-Komsomolskoye-Karabutak highway continues in Kostanay region. All work is carried out as part of the execution of the order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of the country's transport infrastructure.One of the most striking examples of the implementation of this task was the 5.1 km long reconstruction project completed in 2021. The work was carried out by Kostanay Zholdary LLP, the total investment amounted to 4.5 billion tenge. Thanks to this segment, the highway was transferred from the III to the I-B technical category, which significantly increased safety and comfort for motorists.This year, active work continues: the average repair of the section from the Rudny overpass to the intersection with Abai Avenue in Kostanay has begun. The length of the site is 31.5 km, and the contractor is ABZ Plus LLP. The project cost is 6.7 billion tenge. As part of the renovation, two layers of new asphalt concrete pavement are being laid. To date, the laying of the lower layer has already been completed on the right side for 28.2 km (90%) and on the left side for 10.2 km (32%). All work is scheduled to be completed in October 2025.Special attention is paid to street lighting in the direction of Kostanay – Rudny. In 2024, one kilometer of lighting line will be installed in the area of the Kunai residential area. In 2025, as part of the renovation, another 3.8 km of street lighting will be built from Kostanay to Kunai railway station.In addition, lighting is currently being designed for a 25 km section from the Kunai railway station to the city of Rudny. A Regular Meeting of the Consultative and Advisory Body “Dialogue Platform on the Human Dimension” Held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan 13.06.2025
Astana, June 12, 2025 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a regular meeting of the subgroup of the Consultative and Advisory Body “Dialogue Platform on the Human Dimension”. The event was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament, representatives of the National Center for Human Rights, relevant ministries, Kazakh human rights NGOs, as well as guests of the platform – representatives of the United Nations Development Programme.The meeting was held in the lead-up to the review of Kazakhstan’s National Report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights at the 144th session of the UN Human Rights Committee, scheduled for June 24-25, 2025. Participants discussed a wide range of human rights issues, including the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion, censorship, freedom of peaceful assembly and association, freedom of expression, women’s rights, as well as the rights of underage girls and adolescents.The meeting was co-chaired by Alua Nadirkulova, Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, and Botagoz Zhakselekova, Vice-Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan.Over the past five years, Kazakhstan has implemented large-scale political reforms in the field of human rights and is currently continuing its consistent efforts to strengthen relevant mechanisms. In this context, participants discussed the draft law on amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at optimizing the Criminal, Criminal Procedure, and Penal Enforcement Codes. Given that this draft law is the most comprehensive initiative of the current parliamentary session, it was emphasized that its key provisions are aimed at strengthening the protection of the rights of citizens and entrepreneurs, expanding the role of defense attorneys in criminal proceedings, streamlining criminal justice procedures, and introducing criminal liability for stalking (harassment and intimidation), illegal issuance of bank cards and accounts, as well as forced marriage.In her remarks, Vice Minister Zhakselekova emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to open dialogue on pressing issues in society and the importance of the views of NGOs. She also noted that the previous review of the National Report of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in June 2016, and the upcoming presentation of the report in June 2025 will cover an eight-year period and a broad range of issues.Overall, the agenda topics were discussed in an open and constructive manner. Representatives of governmental bodies and NGOs had the opportunity to exchange views on further enhancing human rights protection mechanisms in the country.The Consultative and Advisory Body “Dialogue Platform on the Human Dimension” was established in 2013 at the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A meeting of the regional interdepartmental headquarters for coordinating the activities of government agencies aimed at countering drug addiction and drug trafficking was held in the Akimat of Kostanay region. 13.06.2025

The activities of more than 7.5 thousand Internet resources distributing prohibited substances have been suppressed.According to Daniyar Dandybayev, head of the Police Department of Kostanay region, there has been an increase in the number of drug crimes in the region by almost 24%. Over 46 kg of narcotic drugs were seized from illicit traffic, 8 illegal phytolabs were liquidated.Preventive measures among young people, the employment of minors in the summer, as well as issues of interdepartmental cooperation were discussed.Deputy head of the Regional Education Department Danagul Syundikova said that this year over 5.6 thousand preventive measures have been organized, in which more than 85 thousand students and 43 thousand parents took part.Dinara Karymsakova, acting head of the Department of Public Development of the region, reported on regular preventive work among university students: lectures, debates, meetings, flash mobs and other events are held. Over 70% of the student youth of Kostanay region participate in the activities of creative, intellectual and sports clubs, which has a positive impact on the formation of sustainable anti-drug attitudes and values.According to Acting head of the Regional Health Department Zhanna Kozybayeva, health officials have developed a plan for drug addiction prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and social support for 2025. В ЗКО задержан вор-гастролер, подозреваемый в совершении кражи на сумму 1,6 млн тенге.Сотрудниками полиции задержан подозреваемый в совершении кражи в период с 11 мая по 8 июня в Уральске.Установлено, что подозреваемый арендовал одну из комнат в квартире, где проживала потерпевшая. Воспользовавшись доверительной обстановкой и свободным доступом, он тайно похитил денежные средства в размере 500 тысяч тенге, а также ювелирные изделия: четыре золотых кольца и серьги, серебряное кольцо и цепочку ручной работы. Общий ущерб составил 1 млн 600 тысяч тенге.В ходе розыскных мероприятий сотрудники полиции задержали злоумышленника. Им оказался молодой парень 2006 года рождения, уроженец Жамбылской области, который ранее неонакратно был судим за совершение аналогичных преступлении на терр тории Алматы и Актау. Часть похищенного изъята.По данному факту возбуждено уголовное дело.
