Trusting intermediaries offering services for obtaining pension savings is dangerous! 28.04.2026
Offers to act as intermediaries for obtaining pension savings above the minimum sufficiency threshold (MST) for any category of citizen continue to be distributed on social media and online classifieds platforms, in exchange for a fee, which is required as an advance payment for the alleged services.     The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) once again warns: lump sum pension payments are made without intermediaries or commissions.    By agreeing to participate in dubious schemes, you will not only lose your money but also jeopardize the security of your personal data, which may subsequently be used for other fraudulent activities.    We also remind you: receiving pension savings is only possible in cases strictly defined by the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These include, first and foremost, reaching retirement age, permanent disability of Groups 1 or 2, moving to permanent residence, and inheritance. Pension savings may be used for housing improvements and/or medical treatment, subject to legally established conditions:  Depositors with savings exceeding the minimum sufficiency threshold (up to the amount above the minimum monthly wage);Pensioners whose pension is at least 40% of their lost income (previously received wages) – they can use up to 50% of their remaining savings in the account;Retirees with years of service (up to 100% of their savings);Depositors with a pension annuity agreement (up to 100% of their savings).    The targeted use of pension savings for housing or medical treatment is possible only through authorized operators – second-tier banks. Accordingly, the services of intermediaries are not required. The ENPF does not charge any commissions.     The ENPF strongly recommends that its depositors and recipients ignore such offers, obtain information from official sources, and act exclusively within the legal framework. You can get answers to all your questions and verify information regarding the withdrawal and transfer of your pension savings both at ENPF branches and remotely:- via the enpf.kz website or the BZhZK/ENPF mobile app;- via the toll-free multi-channel call center number 1418, or via WhatsApp at +7 777 000 1418;- on the ENPF's official social media pages on popular platforms such as Odnoklassniki, Telegram, Facebook, VKontakte, and Instagram.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/abay-kurchatov/press/news/details/1210323?lang=kk
