The second stage of construction of the first 150 MW wind farm in the Karaganda region is underway in Osakarov district. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched preparations for the spring conscription campaign of 2025. An interdepartmental meeting was held within the National Guard to coordinate efforts for the upcoming draft and to address key organizational and logistical issues. According to official statistics, the share of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in GDP has been growing over the past year. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the share of SMEs in the economy was 39.7%. The total number of people employed in 2024 increased by 2.2% and reached 4.4 million people. The volume of output by SMEs in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased by 19.2% and amounted to 81 trillion tenge.
