Draughts competitions were held among civil servants in Pavlodar as part of the XXIII Regional Spartakiad program. On April 22 of this year, as part of the implementation of the Mobile Anti-Corruption Group project, a visit to Glubokovsky district of the East Kazakhstan region took place. The purpose of the event was to promote the "Law and Order" narrative among the population, as well as to provide practical legal assistance to citizens. The action was organized by the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan region. Heads and representatives of various government and law enforcement agencies, as well as professional lawyers who voluntarily joined the ranks of anti-corruption volunteers, were involved in advising the population. During the event, legal assistance was provided to 85 residents of the district. The largest number of appeals concerned issues in the field of housing and communal services and healthcare. A court in Karaganda has issued a guilty verdict in a case involving the theft of 339 million tenge in government subsidies. The money was allocated to reduce the cost of milk under the National Project "Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex."The investigation was conducted by the Financial Monitoring Agency’s Department in the Karaganda region.The head of the farming enterprise “DIAS,” along with a local veterinarian, submitted fake documents to receive subsidies. They falsely claimed to own cattle and to be producing and selling dairy products.In reality, the farm only had a small and unsuitable facility, and no actual dairy production or processing was taking place.Some of the stolen funds were used to buy 60 breeding bulls of a meat breed. This led to an additional illegal gain of 9 million tenge in subsidies.The court found them guilty of fraud (Article 190, Part 4, Point 2 of the Criminal Code), money laundering (Article 218, Part 2, Point 1), and illegal destruction or modification of information (Article 206, Part 3, Point 2).
