Development of Kazakhstan–Netherlands Cooperation in the Agro-Industrial Sector Discussed at the World Horti Center 22.01.2026
On 21 January 2026, a meeting was held at the World Horti Center between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands, Mr. Akan Rakhmetullin, and representatives of Dutch Greenhouse Delta, headed by CEO Ms. Mirjam Boekestijn.During the discussions, the parties positively noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations in the field of agriculture and the agro-industrial complex. A New Social Benefit Presented in the National Guard 22.01.2026
A comprehensive event dedicated to the implementation of the right of servicemen and their family members to free travel by rail was held at the Main Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, personnel were briefed on the details of the new social initiative, and mechanisms for its effective implementation in the regions were thoroughly discussed.As part of the briefing, it was announced that starting from January 1, 2026, servicemen of all law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their family members will be entitled to free travel on passenger trains within the country once a year.  Astana, January 21, 2026 – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev held a meeting with Mahir Safarli, newly appointed Representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for Central Asia.During the meeting, current issues on the international agenda were discussed in the context of implementation of the initiative of the head of state to open the UN Regional Center of Sustainable development goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan in Almaty. Particular attention was paid to the issues of the Almaty process, chairmanship of which has been assumed by Kazakhstan since April 2025.The UNHCR representative thanked Kazakhstan for the constructive partnership and open dialogue. Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening multilateral cooperation and coordinating efforts to promote sustainable development and ensure comprehensive approach to addressing humanitarian and migration issues in the region and the world.The Almaty process, founded in 2013 in Almaty, is a regional consultative platform on refugee protection and international migration, covering Central Asia, for the exchange of the best practices and the harmonization of migration policies, as well as for facilitating the development of mechanisms for monitoring migration trends. "Құқықтық навигатор"құқықтық гамотность апталығы 22.01.2026
С  12  по 16 января 2026 года  в школах Осакаровского района согласно плана мероприятий  проводена Неделя правовой грамотности «Правовой навигатор»Цель: развитие правового сознания и формирования правовой культуры, повышение правовой грамотности, воспитание уважения к закону.В рамках правовой недели «Правовой навигатор» проводились мероприятия, направленные на повышение правовой грамотности учащихся.Неделю правовой грамотности «Правовой навигатор» открыла  линейка на тему «Мир прав детей». Учащиеся  знакомились с тематической выставкой «Школьникам о правах». На классных часах принимали участие в беседе «Я и мои права» о правах и обязанностях детей, согласно Конвенции о правах детей. Дискуссия «Права подростка: что нужно знать?» помогла учащимся лучше разобраться в правовых аспектах их жизни. Для учащихся  3-4 классов организован просмотр  видеороликов  на тему «Права детей». Ребята узнали о том, что такое Права человека, какие права и обязанности есть у школьника.Школьные библиотекари  для учащихся 1-11 классов организовали иллюстративно-книжную выставку  «Детям о праве» и  обзор основных законов, защищающих права детей.Проведены беседа с учащимися 1-11 классов на темы:Хулиганство , Ложные звонки, Вандализм, Кража, Нарушение ПДДПравв и обязанности детей, Употребление наркотических, психотропных веществ, Курение в общественных местах.В рамках проведения недели правовых знаний Правовой навигатор, месячника "Закон и порядок" и реализации программы "Адал Азамат"  проведены дебаты «Обязанности учащихся в школе» с учащимися 9 классов.Цель дебатов: организация коммуникативно-направленной деятельности учащихся.Задачи:Обучающие- ознакомить учащихся с нормами и ценностями гражданского общества;- сформировать умение отстаивать свои интересы на основе знания правовой базы и умения применять свои знания;- сформировать инструментарий для ведения конструктивного диалога. 15 января  42 учащихся учащиеся 7 - 11 классов из 12 школ района  приняли участие в районной онлайн -викторине «Правовая азбука». Участие в викторине способствовало развитию правовой грамотности, умению применять знания на практике и осознанию значимости соблюдения законов.Учителя информатики  провели для учащихся 8-9-х классов урок-презентацию  «Информационная безопасность». Phuket, 22 January 2026 — As part of a working visit to Phuket Province, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Thailand, Margulan Baimukhan, held a meeting with the Governor of Phuket Province, Mr. Nirat Phongsitthaworn.During the meeting, the parties noted the high level and steady development of Kazakh–Thai relations, based on mutual respect and trust. It was emphasized that bilateral cooperation is actively developing in such areas as tourism, trade and economic relations, investment, and humanitarian contacts. The Kazakh side expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation at both the national and regional levels.The Kazakh diplomat highlighted the special importance of Phuket Province for citizens of Kazakhstan as one of the most popular tourist destinations. According to him, in 2025 around 200,000 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Thailand, a significant number of whom chose Phuket.In this context, information was provided on the opening of the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Phuket, which is intended to ensure the protection of the rights and interests of Kazakh citizens and to promote the development of bilateral cooperation.The Governor of the province was invited to take part in the official opening ceremony of the consular office.In turn, Governor Nirat Phongsitthaworn noted that the opening of the Kazakh Consulate in Phuket Province would contribute not only to the further development of tourist exchanges and an increased level of consular support for citizens, but also to the creation of favorable conditions for expanding investment cooperation and business contacts.The parties discussed prospects for the development of practical cooperation between Kazakhstan and Phuket Province, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of tourism, cultural exchange, business, investment, and digitalization.The readiness of the Embassy and the Consulate of Kazakhstan to facilitate the establishment of direct contacts and to support mutually beneficial initiatives was emphasized.Special attention was given to issues of transport connectivity. In 2025, around 200,000 citizens of Kazakhstan visited Thailand.The permanent population of the province is about 450,000 people; however, taking into account temporary visitors, the total number of people present in the region can reach up to 2 million. Today, a ceremony was held in Baikonur city to hand over five residential buildings comprising 250 apartments, with the participation of Regional Governor Nurlybek Nalibayev, Head of the Baikonur City Administration Konstantin Busygin, Regional Prosecutor Rizabek Ozharov, representatives of the intelligentsia, and veterans.During the ceremony, the head of the region congratulated the new homeowners and highlighted the pace of construction in the region, particularly in the housing sector.“Yesterday, at the National Kurultai, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich noted:‘In recent years, the Kyzylorda region has been developing dynamically in line with modern requirements,’ giving a high assessment of the work carried out in the Syr region.The holding of the National Kurultai in Kyzylorda, where the Kazakh name was restored exactly 100 years ago at the initiative of the Alash leaders, has special historical significance.With the support of the Head of State and the Government, our region has become a large-scale construction site. Since 2022, nearly 200 social facilities have been built and put into public use. The state social policy aimed at providing housing for citizens is being implemented effectively.In the Karmakshy district, during 2023–2024, 103 residential houses with 207 apartments were purchased for 2.848 billion tenge and handed over to citizens on the housing waiting list. At the end of last year, keys to 25 new houses with 50 apartments were presented in Zhosaly settlement.To complete the construction of five residential buildings with 50 apartments in Baikonur city, which had begun several years ago but was halted due to contractor negligence, 2.433 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget. Kazakhstan Strengthens Cooperation with Swedish Expert Institutes in the Field of Sustainable Development 22.01.2026
Stockholm, 21 January 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Sweden Olzhas Suleimenov held a meeting with Annika Markovic, Director of Strategic Engagement at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).During the meeting, the parties held an in-depth exchange of views on enhancing cooperation between Kazakhstan and SEI in key areas of environmental modernization and sustainable development, including the climate agenda, sustainable management of natural resources, and water security.The Ambassador emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches primary importance to the rational and sustainable management of water resources, and also highlighted the need to strengthen international coordination in the water sector. Prague, 21 January 2026 – In accordance with the priorities of economic diplomacy aimed at attracting foreign investment and advanced technologies, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Czech Republic continues to support the business communities of the two countries in establishing and further strengthening mutually beneficial ties. As part of his initial engagements with the Czech side, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kairat Abdrakhmanov, held meetings with representatives of the engineering companies TATRA and ZETOR, as well as leading manufacturers of mining equipment FERRIT, industrial equipment ZVVZ Engineering and equipment for the production of container glass SKLOSTROJ.Czech business representatives expressed satisfaction with their cooperation with partners in the Republic of Kazakhstan and were provided with up-to-date information on further measures to improve the investment climate in Kazakhstan within the framework of a new stage of modernization being implemented at the initiative and under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.Information was presented to the Kazakh diplomats on the current status of ongoing projects, as well as on prospects for establishing joint production and localizing manufacturing in certain regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Проектный офис по внедрению Налогового кодекса будет еженедельно рассматривать вопросы бизнеса 21.01.2026
Первое совещание по организации работы проектного офиса по внедрению нового Налогового кодекса прошло сегодня в Правительстве под председательством заместителя Премьер-министра – министра национальной экономики Серика Жумангарина.Проектный офис создается как единый координационный центр для систематизации и оперативного рассмотрения обращений бизнеса, связанных с применением новых норм Налогового кодекса и регуляторики предпринимательства. Его задача – обеспечить согласованные действия государственных органов и выстроить устойчивую обратную связь с предпринимательским сообществом.В первом заседании проектного офиса приняли участие руководство НПП «Атамекен», уполномоченный по защите прав предпринимателей Канат Нуров, представители центральных государственных органов.Ключевая логика работы проектного офиса – принцип «единого окна». Все обращения бизнеса, поступающие через call-центр налоговых органов, Telegram-канал SalykBot, подразделения Комитета государственных доходов, НПП «Атамекен», социальные сети и другие каналы коммуникации, будут аккумулироваться в одном центре. Для типовых обращений будут установлены конкретные сроки подготовки ответов. Вопросы сложного и межведомственного характера будут выноситься на заседания проектного офиса с участием профильных госорганов.Заседания проектного офиса планируется проводить каждую неделю. На них планируется рассматривать наиболее актуальные и часто поднимаемые бизнесом вопросы, вырабатываться решения и предоставляться разъяснения. Итоги работы проектного офиса намерены регулярно доводить до широкой общественности через каналы коммуникации государственных органов и средства массовой информации.Как сообщил вице-министр финансов Ержан Биржанов, в период с 1 по 20 января в налоговой системе зарегистрировано 22 тыс. новых налогоплательщиков, из них более 20 тыс. – индивидуальные предприниматели и около 2 тыс. юридические лица. Количество новых плательщиков НДС составило 7 100. «Режим самозанятых выбрали 137 708 налогоплательщиков. Более 100 тыс. из них – физические лица, ранее не находившиеся в поле налогового администрирования. Новый режим позволяет работать без регистрации ИП и применения кассовых аппаратов, без уплаты налогов, с обязательством только по социальным платежам в размере 4% от дохода», — отметил Ержан Биржанов.Отмечено, что период имплементации сопровождается объективными сложностями. В начале января фиксировались технические проблемы при запуске ИСНА. На сегодняшний день все методологические и технические вопросы урегулированы. Подчеркнуто, что ИСНА является крупнейшей информационной системой в стране, одновременно обслуживающей до 250 тыс. налогоплательщиков.Сегодня основные обращения бизнеса носят прикладной характер и касаются выбора режима налогообложения, подачи уведомлений, корректности обработки данных, выбора ОКЭД, заполнения электронных счетов-фактур и других процедурных вопросов. Для оперативной поддержки налогоплательщиков на постоянной основе работают офисы консультаций при ДГД, call-центр и Telegram-канал SalykBot.С 5 января во всех областных центрах и городах республиканского значения три раза в неделю проводится акция «Народный бухгалтер». В ней участвуют более 100 бухгалтеров, представляющих семь отраслевых ассоциаций. Бесплатные консультации уже получили свыше 3 тыс. человек.Подводя итоги заседания, Серик Жумангарин подчеркнул, что в период реформы основной фокус был сделан на формирование и обсуждение норм Налогового кодекса, тогда как на этапе имплементации ключевое значение приобретают четкие сроки, понятные механизмы и предсказуемость их применения.«Мы понимаем, что в процессе внедрения неизбежно возникают вопросы. Если реагировать на них разрозненно, по ведомствам, риски только накапливаются. Проектный офис создается именно для того, чтобы оперативно и системно решать вопросы бизнеса», — отметил он.В состав проектного офиса вошли представители Министерства финансов, Комитета государственных доходов, Министерства национальной экономики, НПП «Атамекен», Министерства цифрового развития и Министерства юстиции.
