Kazakhstan and Mongolia Strengthen Strategic Partnership 27.06.2025

The tournament took place at the Zhenis Youth Sports School and brought together over 100 athletes from all regional commands, the National Guard Academy, and military units 6654 and 5573.The competition followed an Olympic elimination format across seven weight categories. Indian MSN Group to Build a Pharmaceutical Plant in Almaty Region 27.06.2025
Astana, June 26, 2025 – As a follow-up to the agreements reached during the visit of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu to India, a meeting was held at “Kazakh Invest” NC JSC with the leadership of one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies – MSN Group.During the negotiations, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan Gabidulla Ospankulov discussed prospects for cooperation with Executive Director of MSN Group, Manda Nihil Teja Reddy. The meeting marked an important step toward implementing the agreements on localizing pharmaceutical production in Kazakhstan.The company’s leadership presented plans for a joint investment project to build a full-cycle pharmaceutical plant in the Almaty Region. Astana, June 27, 2025 – Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gabidulla Ospankulov, held a meeting with Hüseyin Barlin, Chairman of the Board of one of Turkiye’s leading logistics companies – S Sistem Lojistik.During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan, including the construction of a network of modern logistics and warehouse terminals with a total investment of approximately 100 million US dollars. В Министерстве национальной экономики РК состоялось очередное заседание Общественного совета под председательством главы Совета Эльдара Шамсутдинова и руководителя аппарата МНЭ Олжаса Сыздыкова. В рамках встречи были подведены промежуточные итоги реализации Концепции развития местного самоуправления до 2025 года, а также представлен ход выполнения проекта - «С дипломом в село».В ходе обсуждения было отмечено, что с момента внедрения механизма прямых выборов с 2021 года избрано 2 969 сельских акимов. В текущем году этот механизм начал распространяться и на уровень районов и городов областного значения - выборы будут проводиться по мере завершения сроков полномочий действующих акимов.Помимо этого, участникам заседания представили ряд инициатив, направленных на дальнейшее развитие системы местного самоуправления. В частности, продолжается совершенствование избирательного законодательства. Наряду с этим укрепляется финансовая база сельских округов: доходы бюджетов IV уровня выросли в 3,5 раза, планируется передача дополнительных налогов и сборов. Кроме того, рассматривается упрощение порядка перераспределения бюджетных средств, который позволит существенно сократить сроки принятия решений.Как подчеркнули участники, предпринимаемые меры способствуют формированию более самостоятельной и открытой модели местного самоуправления.Отдельным блоком был рассмотрен ход реализации проекта «С дипломом в село», направленного на привлечение специалистов в сельскую местность. С 2009 года мерами социальной поддержки охвачено свыше 114 тысяч человек, из них более 52 тысяч воспользовались льготными кредитами на жильё. Guardsmen Rescue Drowning Man from River 27.06.2025
In the city of Kyzylorda, servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan demonstrated heroism by rescuing a man who was drowning in a river.The incident occurred in the evening on the bank of the Syr Darya River. The man slipped while approaching the water and fell in. The strong current prevented him from getting out, posing a serious threat to his life.At that moment, servicemen of military unit 5547 — Sergeant Murat Tusekeyev and Junior Sergeant Zhambyl Tansykbai — were nearby. They heard the man’s cries for help and acted without hesitation.“We were walking along the riverbank when we heard someone shouting, ‘Help!’ Rushing to the scene, we saw a man being carried away by the river’s strong current. He couldn’t get out on his own. "Law and Order": a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Anti-Corruption Issues was held in East Kazakhstan Region 27.06.2025
In the East Kazakhstan region, as part of the promotion of the "Law and Order" narrative, a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Anti-Corruption Commission under the Akimat of the region was held. The meeting was chaired by Akim of the region Nurymbet Saktaganov, with the participation of Denis Shakenov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Agency Department for East Kazakhstan region, as well as heads of law enforcement and authorized government agencies. The key topics on the agenda were the implementation of the Corruption Risk Map, such as the agro-industrial complex, the social sphere, construction, road infrastructure and business protection. In addition, the work of compliance services of the quasi-public sector was assessed, and problematic issues of completing long-term construction were discussed. In his opening remarks, the Governor of the region noted the need for a coordinated and systematic approach of all departments to the fight against corruption, focusing on preventive work as the main task. The head of the Anti-Corruption Service also supported this position, stressing that success is possible only if there is an open dialogue and the responsibility of the authorities concerned. The main report was delivered by Asylkhan Ashikov, First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Agency Department for East Kazakhstan region. During the presentation, systemic problems were voiced, such as manipulations with the return of agricultural land, the lack of a uniform approach to the social obligations of subsurface users, the late completion of construction of facilities, the presence of administrative barriers in the implementation of investment projects, as well as insufficient involvement of compliance services in identifying and eliminating corruption risks. In addition, the positive effect of the introduction of cloud accounting in the social sphere was noted separately, which made it possible to identify more than 500 suspicious transactions worth about 140 million tenge. Following the meeting, concrete steps were proposed to eliminate violations and systematically prevent corruption. The Governor of the region instructed the heads of relevant departments to ensure strict fulfillment of the tasks set, stressing that the implementation of anti-corruption policy remains a priority of the regional authorities.
