12 domestic developments are being tested on republican highways 16.11.2024
The Ministry of Transport is systematically working on testing and introducing new technologies into the road industry. This year alone, Kazakhstani scientists are testing 12 new technologies on highways of national importance. Thus, as part of the development of the road construction industry, KazdorNII JSC launched a Single database of road construction materials and innovative technologies in a pilot mode. Its goal is to improve the quality of roads and increase transparency in the road construction sector, support domestic production and science, as well as prevent fraud and lobbying of technologies and materials. At the moment, 112 product names have been entered into the database. 37 received the "green status" (passed laboratory and monitoring control), 23 received the "yellow status" (access to experimental sites after laboratory tests), and 52 received the "gray status", which implies passing primary laboratory tests. The systematization of data helps to identify and use the most effective solutions that improve the safety and quality of roads.A number of unique domestic developments have been tested at the pilot sites this year. Including the latest developments of KazdorNIA scientists: bitumen and asphalt concrete modifier Qsmart-PM, which increases the resistance of coatings to deformation (tested on the Kapshagai-Kurty highway section), eco-friendly and effective up to -25 °C anti-icing reagent QSmart-AntiGlaze (tested on the section of the Astana Bypass highway and organo-soluble paint for road markings with improved weather resistance and long service life of QSmart-RoadPaint (the pilot site is located on the Almaty-Bishkek highway. Also in Kazakhstan, the QELAST modifier, the ALFADOB adhesive additive, as well as various mixtures and additives for soil, cold asphalt and Go Green sealant are being tested. Each of these technologies undergoes mandatory scientific and technical support for two years to fully assess their effectiveness.Work on the creation and filling of a Single database will reduce the cost of repairing and building roads, ensure their durability, reduce the impact on the environment and improve road safety.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/transport/press/news/details/878865

Almost 158 thousand. the first time people with disabilities used invataxi services through aggregators in 2024 16.11.2024
As part of the pilot project on the use of taxi aggregators in the provision of invataxi services for people with special needs, initiated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – MTSZN) last year, as of November 1, 2024, 157.9 thousand people received this service in Astana and Almaty.Recall that by the end of 2023, people with disabilities used invataxi services 53.9 thousand times. As previously reported, the Ministry of Health, together with the akimats, decided to change the mechanism for providing invataxi services in order to improve its quality and speed of delivery, since there are a number of conditions according to current standards. For example, citizens need to make an appointment by phone the day before receiving the service, which forces them to plan their trips in advance, wait for the delivery of invataxi, there is a shortage of vehicles to provide invataxi services, etc.To simplify the conditions, a pilot project was initiated to involve taxi aggregators in the provision of this service, who received a corresponding request for participation. An important condition was the absence of interest on the payment of trips, which are usually deducted in favor of aggregator platforms. Yandex has expressed a desire to participate in the pilot project free of charge. As part of the pilot, citizens can book trips in passenger cars as part of invataxi through the Yandex Go mobile app. This allows you to quickly select a car for the recipient of the service, track the status of the order online and monitor the trips made. The accessibility screen has been launched in this application so that people with disabilities can warn the driver about special wishes on the trip. In turn, drivers receive special instructions – for example, how to help a person with getting in and out of a car.At the first stage, a focus group of people with disabilities (hereinafter referred to as LSI) from the cities of Astana and Almaty participates in the pilot project. In 2024, the project will continue, and in the future, the provision of services in a new format is planned to be expanded to other LSI groups and scaled to all regions of the country.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/enbek/press/news/details/878703
