On June 17, 2026, a meeting of the East Kazakhstan Regional Akimat reviewed the implementation of investment projects and the attraction of investments into the regional economy.At the end of 2025, the volume of investments in fixed capital amounted to KZT 838 billion, which is 5% higher than the previous year. Astana, June 17, 2026 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov received the Ambassador of Hungary to Kazakhstan, Ottó Ivan Róna, on the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.Kazakh diplomat expressed his appreciation to his Hungarian counterpart for his active and fruitful work aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic, Zhanna Saginova, held a meeting with the Chairwoman of the Slovak Women’s Association, Monika Ďurechová.During the conversation, the Ambassador outlined the reforms implemented at the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to support women. In particular, emphasis was placed on measures aimed at enhancing the role of women in the socio-political life of the country, strengthening women's entrepreneurship, as well as protecting the rights of women and children.Ďurechová highly commended the state policy pursued by Kazakhstan to provide comprehensive support for women and promote them to leadership positions within public administration.The Head of the Association emphasized the importance of the laws adopted in the country to ensure gender equality, prevent domestic violence, and tighten accountability for domestic and family abuse. She also praised the 18% representation of women in the Parliament of Kazakhstan, stressing that this stands as a significant achievement in increasing the political activity of women.In turn, M. Алматы состоялось открытие Региональной встречи экспертной группы по вопросам новых психоактивных веществ в странах Центральной Азии и Пакистане.Мероприятие организовано Национальным межведомственным Таргетинг центром Комитета по правовой статистике и специальным учетам Генеральной прокуратуры Республики Казахстан (далее - Комитет) совместно с Международным комитетом по контролю над наркотиками (МККН) и Управлением ООН по наркотикам и преступности (УНП ООН).В работе встречи принимают участие представители компетентных государственных органов Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Таджикистана, Туркменистана, Узбекистана и Пакистана, международные эксперты в сфере противодействия незаконному обороту наркотиков, а также представители химической промышленности и логистических компаний.Основная цель мероприятия - укрепление регионального сотрудничества, обмен практическим опытом и развитие совместных подходов к противодействию современным угрозам, связанным с распространением новых психоактивных веществ, синтетических наркотиков и использованием новых технологий в незаконном обороте.С приветственными словами к участникам выступили Председатель Комитета Сабит Нурлыбай,  руководитель программы GRIDS Международного комитета по контролю над наркотиками Фумио Ито, Руководитель Отдела по международной борьбе с наркотиками и соблюдению законности (INL) Посольства США в Республике Казахстан Юлиана Садовски, директор Центральноазиатского регионального информационного координационного центра по борьбе с незаконным оборотом наркотических средств, психотропных веществ и их прекурсоров (ЦАРИКЦ) Махмуд Хамидов,  исполняющий обязанности Председателя Комитета по борьбе с наркопреступностью Министерства внутренних дел Ельдар Абдикенов.В своем выступлении Сабит Нурлыбай отметил: «Сегодня новые психоактивные вещества представляют одну из наиболее серьезных угроз общественной безопасности и здоровью населения. Их стремительное распространение, постоянное изменение химического состава, использование современных цифровых технологий и транснациональный характер незаконного оборота требуют от нас своевременного обмена информацией, консолидации усилий и выработки совместных решений.Противодействие наркотизму, новых психоактивных веществ и прекурсоров является одним из приоритетных направлений органов прокуратуры.
