The Embassy Received Dimash during His Tour 15.10.2025
On October 9, 2025, the Embassy had the honor of welcoming global star Dimash Qudaibergen, who is currently in Mexico as part of his world tour “Stranger,” along with his family and members of his concert team.Despite his busy schedule, Dimash found time to meet with fellow Kazakh citizens currently residing in Mexico. This gesture was warmly received by the small local Kazakh diaspora.Sharing his impressions of his time in Mexico and his concerts, Dimash expressed his gratitude to all his fans and highly praised the incredibly warm welcome and the special energy of the Mexican audience.An important part of his visit to the Embassy was the promotion of Kazakh traditions and culture. For instance, he exchanged the first move in the traditional game of Toguzkumalak with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mexico, Almurat Turganbekov, and also took part in the “tusaukeser” ceremony for one-year-old Kazakhstani Khalid Yildiz, blessing him for a great future.The most emotional part of the meeting was the photo session and autograph signing for his fans. An international scientific and theoretical conference, «The Heritage of Korkyt : Epic Values Common to the Turkic World», was held as part of the international folklore and music festival «The Heritage of Korkyt». Tax Legislation Changes Discussed in Karatal District 15.10.2025

The Venice Commission of the Council of Europe Adopted an Updated Rule of Law Checklist 15.10.2025

The event brought together members of the Commission, presidents and judges of constitutional courts, representatives of ministries of justice - including Kazakhstan - as well as prominent lawyers and scholars from 61 countries.The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Elvira Azimova, and the Minister of Justice Yerlan Sarsembayev.The members of the Venice Commission discussed opinions concerning draft amendments to the constitutions of Hungary and Slovakia; draft laws regarding the activities of non-profit organizations in Slovakia providing services of public interest; the election of members of the General Council of the Judiciary and the impact of the pre-trial detention of mayors on local democratic governance in Spain; the registration and activities of foreign agents in Georgia; the work of the Prosecutorial Council in Kosovo and North Macedonia; the improvement of disciplinary and other judicial procedures in Ukraine; and legal reforms of the prosecution bodies in Peru.In addition to the adoption of advisory opinions on national draft laws, the Commission discussed Amicus Curiae expert opinions for the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in the cases of Association of Young Lawyers of Georgia and Others v. Georgia, and on the compatibility of Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia with European standards in terms of legal certainty. The Commission also considered an urgent opinion for the ECHR in the case of Grande Oriente D’Italia V. Italy, concerning procedural safeguards in the exercise of powers by parliamentary investigative commissions.The Venice Commission further discussed the updated Rule of Law Checklist, first adopted by the Commission in 2016.The Commission emphasized that the concept of the “rule of law” implies a clear and predictable legal system in which every citizen has the right to fair, equal, and reasonable treatment under the law by all persons exercising power, and the right to challenge their decisions before independent and impartial courts within a fair judicial process.The Rule of Law Checklist has been updated in light of new challenges and the rapid advancement of digitalization. Priorities of Kazakh–Indian relations synchronized in New Delhi 15.10.2025
New Delhi, 10 October 2025 - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of India Azamat Yeskarayev held a meeting with Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India HE Mr. Sibi George.Ambassador Yeskarayev congratulated Mr. George on his recent appointment and briefed him on the current state and prospects for the development of Kazakhstan–India cooperation, noting the positive dynamics of interaction in the political, trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres.The Kazakh diplomat particularly emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts in the investment sphere, as well as achieving the previously agreed target of increasing bilateral trade turnover to 3 billion US dollars.
