Herd locusts 09.05.2025
Herd locusts.More than 270 species of locust insects live in Kazakhstan, of which 10-15 species are dangerous pests of grain, vegetable crops, pastures and hayfields. The most dangerous and harmful are the herd species of locusts - Asian, Moroccan and Italian Prussian. Herd locusts have a constant tendency to group into groups (clusters of larvae) and swarms (clusters of adults) and live crowded. Kuligi and stai perform migration over considerable distances. Herd locusts can cause serious harm and endanger the food security and livelihood of the local population. The complexity of anti-locust treatments is that it is difficult to predict their invasion.Italian Prussian is a pest that is widespread in Kazakhstan, but it has the largest concentration in northern and western Kazakhstan. Inhabits areas of cereal-sage, often sandy steppes of the steppe and desert zone of Kazakhstan. This is a very ecologically plastic species, capable of easily adapting to different habitats. The preferred fodder plants are mostly forages, although almost all crops, including cereals, can be damaged during outbreaks. Spawning occurs from the end of April to the middle of June. Larva development lasts 40-55 days and passes through five instars. Adult insects are usually present from the beginning of July. Mating from July to August to September. Females lay one to four eggs (up to 120 overwintering eggs) in dry, weedy soils, as well as in loose, dry soils. Adults die at the end of summer.Asian locust - brown or green imago 29-55 mm long, gregarious species. Eggs overwinter in cups in the soil at a depth of 5-6 cm. Nymphs emerge in the spring and come to the surface of the soil. They develop in 35-50 days. Fertility of the female is 60-80, sometimes 120 eggs (2-3 cubes). Nymphs of the form of a herd form agglomerations, which can cover large distances - 45 km.In 2025, the monitoring survey of herd locusts in the territorial inspection of B. Mailina district will amount to 152 thousand hectares. Of them, according to Italian Prussia, the total survey area is 102.0 thousand ha. of them, 1.0 thousand ha - spring cubs, 50.0 thousand ha - spring-summer larvae, 50.0 thousand ha summer imago, 1.0 thousand ha - autumn cubs. 50,000 ha of Asian locusts to be surveyed. There are 30,000 ha of larvae from them. Imago 20.0 thousand ha.By 2025, the projected volume of locust cultivation is 1.0 thousand ha on state reserve lands, of which Belinsky village - 0.2 thousand ha, Novoilinovsky village - 0.4 thousand ha, Kalininsky village - 0.3 thousand ha, Ayet village - 0.1 thousand ha.When fighting locust larvae, the main target and treatments against them are carried out in the spring. Treatments can also be aimed at cubs (early spring) or imago (late spring and summer). Mechanical and agrotechnical measures are sometimes used. Spraying with chemical preparations (insecticide) is the main method of combating locusts. It is mainly carried out by land and air. Different methods of processing are used against locusts: continuous - the entire territory inhabited by the pest is treated; barrier - certain strips are processed in the direction of movement of locusts, leaving the interbarrier space without processing; local - treated only the foci of accumulation (coolies) of larvae; regional - are performed around the crops of agricultural crops.VNIMANIYU AKIMATOV SELSKIH OKRUGOV, NASELENIA, SELKHOSTOVAROPROIZVODITELEY VSEH FORM SOBSTVENNOSTI RAYONA BEIMBETA MAILINA.In case of detection of larvae of herd locust pests, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY notify the phytosanitary services of the region on the following phone numbers:GU "Rayonnaya TI Beimbeta Mailina" KGI v APC MSH RKs. Nearly 53% of respondents admitted that they do not know whom to contact if their personal data has been compromised. Such data was revealed by a recent online survey in the eGov Mobile application, in which more than 50,000 people took part. Only 18% of respondents confidently stated that they know how to act in case of a leak.More than 62% have no idea what a phishing link is - this is one of the main tools used by online fraudsters. More than half of respondents have received suspicious messages. The results of the survey highlight once again that despite the fact that many people have experienced scams online, the majority of people are still not digitally literate and do not know how to protect their data. This highlights the need to introduce services such as Nomad Guard. The Nomad Guard service allows you to check both specific links and websites that the user frequently works with. Check results can take some time, so to track their status, go to the 'My Checks' tab where you can see the final result. The homepage of the service displays information about the websites from which the data was leaked, as well as the amount of data leaked. A click on the amount of data displays a detailed list of leaks. There is also a 'Fraud' tab where users can report suspicious activity using a dedicated form.To get the service, the user needs to:log in to the eGov Mobile app and go to the "Other services" section;click "Check" button;enter the link and click "Submit";see the application status in the "My checks" section.Users can also find additional information in the 'More' section and access the 'News', 'Training' and 'Tests' sections. The new service was implemented thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Center for Analysis and Investigation of Cyber Attacks.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aktobe-irgiz/press/news/details/990193?lang=kk
