Maimanov were found guilty of repeatedly accepting bribes totaling KZT 7.4 mln from Zhumashev in exchange for awarding service contracts to his private fire safety company.By the court’s verdict, D. Kukonev was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment, while Zh. Maimanov and B. Zhumashev were each sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment.They were also permanently banned from holding positions in public service and the quasi-public sector.In addition, D.
