The meeting of the Commission was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Co-Chairman of the Commission Zhakyp Kazhmanuly Asanov, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Co-Chairman of the Commission Sodik Solikhuly Safoev, deputies of the Republics of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, representatives of the ministry.Opening the work of the Commission, Zhakyp Kazhmanuly noted that the ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan based on friendship and good neighborliness have allowed for the establishment of a constructive and trusting dialogue. He noted that trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries is currently strengthening, and the Commission's contribution to this has been made. The commission meeting also considered the work of the "Central Asia" International Industrial Cooperation Center, which began in 2023, and the issue of attracting investors to industrial zones being built by the two countries.In addition, the draft Roadmap for the development of cooperation between the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025-2026, as well as issues to be considered at the 5th meeting of the commission on cooperation between the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were comprehensively reviewed and discussed.
