A hand-to-hand combat tournament for the Cup of the Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Abyroy Sports Complex in the capital. In Zhambyl region, World War II veteran Rakhimzhan Sampaldyuly Mamyraliyev celebrated his centenary.
