Today, the country's first factory for the production of full-cycle industrial batteries has opened in the Zhetisu region. These batteries, produced with the help of advanced modern technologies, are widely used in the oil and gas, mining, telecommunications, energy, railway, as well as as a source of uninterrupted energy in the "green" energy sector, in particular, for storing electricity from solar and wind power plants. 40% of the products produced at the plant will be directed to the domestic market, and 60% will be exported, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.Speaking with a welcoming speech, akim of the region Beibit Isabayev said:- Today we are opening a new plant – Asma Industrial LLP, which has no analogues in Kazakhstan. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that full-cycle industrial batteries will be produced here, which are widely used in various industries. The implementation of this investment project is an important event for the region. For our part, we have provided all the necessary state support. Engineering networks in the amount of 260 million tenge were supplied at the expense of the local budget. We hope that the company will strengthen its status as an innovative leader in its field and achieve high results in the implementation of the task set by the Head of State to promote production policy," B. Isabayev said.According to the director of the plant Serikbai Azhmagambetov, the cost of the project is 8.5 billion tenge. The capacity of the enterprise is 210 thousand pieces of industrial batteries per year. When production reaches full capacity, the number of jobs will reach 180, thanks to which the local population will be provided with stable work. At the same time, some of the products will be exported, and some will be sold on the domestic market.- We started working on this project in 2021. I thank all those who helped and supported us from the very beginning. The staff of our company is young, it is just being formed, and the necessary personnel are being recruited. Most of our specialists have many years of experience in this industry. And we will train young specialists in the process of work. Large manufacturing enterprises are the most important basis for the development of any region. A meeting of the interdepartmental headquarters for combating drug addiction and drug trafficking was held under the chairmanship of Akim of the Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai. The issues of drug crime prevention and the fight against drug smuggling were discussed at the meeting.According to Akylbek Samatov, Head of the Operational Department of the Mangystau Region Department of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this year, in cooperation with territorial divisions of state bodies, 25 cases of drug trafficking were prevented, narcotic substances were seized.In addition, it was noted that one of the most effective ways to detect drugs and prevent their entry into the country is the use of non-intrusive means of inspection.During the meeting, Deputy head of the Mangystau region Police Department, Police Colonel Ilyas Zhumagulov said that 428 drug-related offenses were registered in the region in 11 months of 2024.
