Comprehensive preparations for the flood period of 2025 are being actively carried out in Zhambyl region. The Department of Emergency Situations, together with local executive bodies, has checked all hydraulic structures in the region, and preventive security measures have been taken in the necessary areas.1,039 kilometers of canals, 1,615 kilometers of irrigation ditches, 406 culverts, 299 automobile and 115 railway bridges have been cleared in the region.
