Collection of outstanding vehicle taxes from individuals 30.04.2026
In accordance with the Tax Code, the deadline for individuals to pay vehicle tax for the preceding period falls on April 1 of each year, e.g., for the current year the 2025 tax year is due.Should a taxpayer fail to meet this deadline, they will be issued a notification to settle the tax arrears within 20 working days, late payment penalties will accrue for each day the balance remains unpaid. The deadline to act upon this notification is 30 working days following its delivery. If the notification is not fulfilled, the tax authority will issue a formal tax order for debt collection (hereinafter – the tax order) in a format established by the authorized body. This order will be sent to the individual no later than five working days after its issuance.Pursuant to Article 190 of the Tax Code, if an individual fails to comply with a tax order, the tax authority will refer the case to the relevant territorial judicial authorities or the regional chamber of private bailiffs, enforcement will then proceed in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding enforcement proceedings and the status of bailiffs.During the enforcement of a tax order, private bailiffs (PB) may implement measures such as the seizure of property, freezing of bank accounts, wage garnishment, and restrictions on international travel or the right to drive.Furthermore, private bailiffs collect an additional fee of 25% of the total debt for their services. To avoid these additional costs and restrictive measures, vehicle owners are strongly advised to pay their taxes on time.In addition, the region will continue to conduct enforcement activities under the annual Memorandum between the Regional Chamber of Private Bailiffs, the Department of Justice, and the Police Department. These measures include joint raids, door-to-door visits, coordination with employers, and payroll deductions. For the convenience of taxpayers, outstanding balances can be verified via the official website of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Payments can be made through the mobile applications of Kaspi, Halyk, and other second-tier banks.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd-vko/press/news/details/1212355?lang=kk

Work on improving the social protection system for people with disabilities. 30.04.2026
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan is constantly working to improve the social protection system for persons with disabilities. The main goal is to improve the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of rehabilitation, with a focus on real human needs. In April of this year, changes were made to the order - the Methodology for determining the guaranteed amount provided as compensation for the cost of rehabilitation equipment provided to persons with disabilities through the Social Services Portal was revised.Previously, the commission determined the guaranteed amount based on three sources of information on the average price for the previous financial year – based on data from the social services portal, public procurement of goods, and commercial offers from potential suppliers. In the new Methodology, the guaranteed amount will be calculated taking into account the data of the social services portal and the data of the electronic store. In this regard, the social services portal is being integrated with the digital systems of the Ministry of Finance to obtain aggregated data from electronic trading platforms on the market value of goods. In the future, it is planned to automatically generate a guaranteed amount based on the received real market data from digital platforms without manual intervention. This ensures transparency, objectivity and a unified approach. The key expected effects will be:- the introduction of full digitalization of the TSR value formation process,- exclusion of the human factor and subjectivity,- ensuring fair pricing;- rational use of budget funds. At the same time, it is important to emphasize that the state eliminates unreasonable expenses in order to provide high-quality medical supplies to citizens in need. The released funds are directed to the development of the system, including the introduction of modern, technological and expensive rehabilitation tools that can improve the efficiency and speed of recovery.Additionally, we would like to inform you that new approaches are being implemented through the National Scientific Center for the Development of Social Protection, a specialized platform where modern solutions in the field of social protection of the population are being developed and implemented.A pilot TCP return mechanism is also being launched through the Scientific Center this year.It applies only to those types of TCP that allow safe reuse, and does not apply to personal protective equipment (such as diapers, dentures, etc.).This mechanism allows, for example, to promptly provide a person with TCP for the period of repair or in case of temporary need, for example, waiting for the delivery of TCP, without waiting for lengthy procedures. At the same time, a social and technical expertise service is being introduced, which allows making decisions based on the actual state of the TSR and individual needs of a person, rather than formal deadlines. This increases the validity of decisions and protects the interests of the recipients. Thus, the introduction of the TCP refund mechanism has the expected effects.:increasing the availability of TCP, reducing waiting times;more efficient use of budget funds;rational use of resources;extending the service life of TCP;formation of a monitoring system for the technical condition and effectiveness of TSR;increasing the transparency and manageability of the TCP support system. The key meaning of the changes is to increase accessibility, quality of rehabilitation, rationality and fairness of the social protection system.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/social-abay/press/news/details/1212114?lang=kk

As part of the course toward digitalization and the development of artificial intelligence set by the Head of State, modern internal management mechanisms are being introduced in the law enforcement troops. New approaches to the system of state price control 30.04.2026
The issue of price control for socially significant food products (SSFP) is one of the priority areas of activity for the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.A set of measures, including state control, is being implemented to stabilize prices.Since the beginning of 2026, the list of SSFPs has been expanded from 19 to 31 items, which necessitates the strengthening of control measures. As of mid-April of the current year, 1,406 administrative fines have been imposed for exceeding the maximum trade markup on SSFPs, which constitutes approximately 50% of the total number of violations detected under this article for the entire year of 2025 (2,913).The work of regional commissions to identify intermediary schemes throughout the entire pricing chain has been intensified. A total of 372 meetings have been held nationwide, 1,092 violations have been identified, 974 protocols have been drawn up, and 118 intermediaries have been excluded from the supply chains. One of the key areas is the analysis of electronic invoices. Since the beginning of the year, 2,361 risks of exceeding the trade markup have been identified, with information on them sent to territorial subdivisions for detailed analysis and appropriate measures. It should be noted that the Ministry is implementing modern approaches to control. Within the framework of analyzing electronic invoices, digital tools, including artificial intelligence technologies, are being used, which allows for processing significant volumes of data in a short time and increasing the efficiency of identifying violations.New methods of analytical data processing are being applied to counter unproductive intermediation. In particular, chains involving three or more wholesale links within one region, as well as transactions of four or more links completed within one day, are being identified. Additionally, an analysis of the affiliation of transaction participants is being conducted. All identified risks are sent for consideration by regional commissions, whose task is to assess compliance with trade legislation requirements and take measures to exclude unproductive intermediaries. The Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan will continue to work on improving state control mechanisms and taking necessary measures aimed at ensuring price stability for socially significant food products.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mti/press/news/details/1211934?lang=kk

Applications will be accepted at specialized PSCs until 12:00 PM, and completed documents can be collected until 1:00 PM.    Please note that on other days that do not coincide with holidays, all public service centers (PSCs) and specialized PSCs, including on-duty branches, will operate as usual according to the current operating schedule.     An up-to-date list of on-duty public service centers and special public service centers can be found on the State Corporation's official website gov4c.kz, on its official Instagram page, or by calling 1414.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/abay-kurchatov/press/news/details/1213719?lang=kk
