Budapest, 16 November 2025. - Under the patronage of Mrs. Zsuzsanna Nagy, spouse of the President of Hungary, and organised by the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest, the traditional Diplomatic Charity Fair was held in Budapest with the participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The event served as an important platform demonstrating Kazakhstan’s commitment to supporting charitable initiatives, fostering goodwill, compassion, and solidarity.At the national booth, visitors were presented with Kazakh handicrafts, souvenirs, traditional cuisine, and cultural exhibits introducing the rich heritage of Kazakhstan.Charity is a force that brings cultures and hearts closer together. Kazakhstan-Hungary Cooperation in Science and Education Set to Expand 18.11.2025
Budapest, 17 November 2025 - A delegation from the Kazakh-Turkish Intergovernmental Khoja Ahmed Yassawi University visited the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Hungary. Led by Prof. Dr. Muhittin Şimşek, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, the delegation discussed with Ambassador Abzal Saparbekuly the university’s cooperation initiatives with Hungary. Tokyo, November 17, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazkahstan in Japan Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev held talks with Masakazu Sekiguchi, President of the House of Councilors of the National Diet of Japan, during which the parties discussed prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.The Kazakh diplomat outlined in detail Kazakhstan’s key initiatives aimed at advancing the “expanded strategic partnership” between Kazakhstan and Japan, and briefed his counterpart on President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s ongoing efforts to modernize the country’s political system in line with the principle: “A Strong President – An Influential Parliament – An Accountable Government.”In turn, Masakazu Sekiguchi highly commended Kazakhstan’s active role on the international stage. About the visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the state of Amazonas 18.11.2025
Manaus, November 17, 2025 - As part of Brazil's presidency of the COP30 climate change conference, at the invitation of the government of the state of Amazonas, Bolat Nussupov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, paid a working visit to the city of Manaus.During his stay in the state capital, Bolat Nussupov held talks with Mr. Gustavo Igrejas, Secretary of Economic Development, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Marcel Alexandre da Silva, Deputy and Secretary of Tourism, Mr. Bosco Saraiva, Director of the SUFRAMA Agency (Federal Agency, responsible for the management of the Manaus Free Trade Zone). The Kazakh Ambassador was also welcomed by the head of the Federal State Police, Mr. Jeff MacDonald.The parties discussed opportunities and ways to establish cooperation between Kazakhstan and the state of Amazonas in the field of trade and investment, as well as cooperation in the field of academic exchanges and tourism. The Brazilian side gave a presentation on the Manaus Free Trade Zone, where advanced technologies are used for doing business.The meeting included an exchange on establishing partnership ties between the state of Amazonas and one of the regions of Kazakhstan, as well as the future opening of our country's honorary consulate in the city of Manaus.For reference: The Brazilian state of Amazonas is the largest state in Brazil in terms of area, occupying more than 18% of the country's territory in the least developed part of the Amazon River basin. The state capital, Manaus, has been declared a free economic zone with the aim of accelerating the development of the Amazon basin region. It accounts for about 98% of the state's industrial production. More than half of the production volume is accounted for by the electrical and electronic industries: the manufacture of mobile phones, computers and peripherals, audio and video equipment, and office equipment. Helsinki, 17 November 2025 – With the aim of deepening bilateral cooperation in the fields of innovation and education, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Azamat Abdraimov made a working visit to the city of Oulu — a hub of digital transformation.During the visit, the Ambassador held a series of meetings with representatives of regional authorities, the University of Oulu, and key companies.The visit began with a tour of Business Oulu, where the Ambassador familiarized himself with the city’s key areas of activity, including innovation, culture, and education, as well as the municipality’s efforts to promote a sustainable urban environment and support technological start-ups.An important part of the programme was a meeting with the Mayor of Oulu, Ari Alatossava, during which the parties discussed opportunities to expand cooperation at the interregional level and prospects for exchanging experience in sustainable urban development and innovative technologies.The Ambassador also met with Jarkko Pyykkönen, Head of Nokia’s Oulu Unit, at the company’s new campus — one of the world’s most advanced centres covering the entire innovation lifecycle of 5G and 6G radio equipment. The Department of State Revenue for the city of Almaty took an active part in the Public Services Fair, organized by the Akimat of the Medeu district of Almaty together with the district government agencies.The purpose of the event is to raise public awareness about the procedure for obtaining public services, explain innovations in the field of digitalization and simplify procedures for citizens' interaction with government agencies.More than 45 citizens received consultations during the fair. ENU and Akimat of Astana are expanding innovative partnership 17.11.2025
A meeting was held at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University between ENU scientists and representatives of the Akimat of Astana. The main purpose of the meeting is to present scientific projects developed by the university and discuss the possibilities of their joint implementation with city structures.During the event, ENU’s leading scientists presented the results of their research and proposals in the fields of investment, economics, digitalization, energy, culture, language, education, religion, transport, housing and communal services, construction and ecology. Discussions on Enhancing Further Cooperation with the Turkic Investment Fund Held at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry 17.11.2025
Astana, November 17, 2025 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held a meeting with President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) Bagdad Amreyev.During the talks, the parties discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the Fund and the outcomes of the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held on 7 October in Gabala.Minister Kosherbayev emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the development of the Fund, which is expected to become a key element of economic cooperation in the Turkic and Islamic world.In turn, TIF President Amreyev reported on the current activities aimed at completing the institutionalization process and forming the Fund’s project portfolio.During the negotiations, the sides also exchanged views on relevant economic issues and the prospects for TIF’s cooperation with other international institutions. HISTORICAL CHOICE: ON THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DECLARATION OF STATE SOVEREIGNTY 17.11.2025
An open discussion platform was held in Kostanay.A socially significant meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty was held in Kostanay. On November 17, a discussion platform called "Historical Choice" was held at the Smart Center of Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynula, bringing together experts, public figures and active youth of the region. The event was attended by representatives of non-profit organizations, media staff, faculty and university students.Opening the meeting, moderator Margulan Abdollauli Bakir introduced the guests and emphasized the historical and political significance of the 1990 Declaration, which became a key step towards Kazakhstan's independence. According to him, the document marked the beginning of the formation of a new political thinking and marked the transition to a qualitatively different social reality.The first speaker was Aybek Batyrkhanovich Shalgimbekov, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan. He stressed that the understanding of the key historical processes by the younger generation directly affects the vector of the country's development.Associate Professor of the Department of Penal Enforcement Law at the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Shyrakbek Kabylbayev, police Lieutenant Colonel Myrzabek Sardarbekuly Toyganov, in his speech, spoke about the reform of the law enforcement system during the years of independence. On November 14, 2025, the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan Region, together with representatives of the East Kazakhstan Region Treasury Department, held a meeting with students of the Department of Finance, Business and Management of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, dedicated to the celebration of the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Today, Yerkebulan Kanafin, a judoka from Temirtau, became the champion of the XXV Summer Deaflympic Games in Tokyo.He performed among athletes with hearing loss in the 81 kg weight category.Our countryman has already won several world-class victories. In May 2022, Kanafin won a gold medal at the XXIV Summer Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. 2023 - first place at the Asia-Pacific Championships in Bishkek. 2024 – World Cup in Turkestan (Kazakhstan) – third place in the individual competition, first in the team competition.And here is a new victory at the highest level! In the final, our judoka defeated Hungarian Patrick Otvosh. Sergey Evgenievich Dmitrenko trains the athlete. Congratulations to the champion and his mentor!We are waiting for medals from taekwondo athletes and swimmers from the Karaganda region. Представители республиканских СМИ посетили медицинские учреждения Министерства обороны в южных регионах страны.Журналисты и блогеры ознакомились с организацией медицинского обеспечения, питания и жилищно-бытовыми условиями солдат срочной службы в Талдыкорганском, Сарыозекском, Конаевском, Алматинском и Гвардейском гарнизонах.  Пресс-тур сопровождал заместитель министра обороны по тылу и военной инфраструктуре генерал-лейтенант Каныш Абубакиров. В ходе пресс-конференции в Талдыкоргане он представил информацию о развитии многоуровневой системы медицинского обеспечения Вооруженных сил.  По его словам, сегодня в Вооруженных силах Казахстана функционируют 16 военно-медицинских учреждений, а также более 130 тактических медицинских подразделений, оказывающих круглосуточную помощь. В системе трудятся свыше 2300 специалистов. Он также отметил внедрение цифрового паспорта здоровья военнослужащего и перспективы применения технологий искусственного интеллекта для анализа состояния здоровья и раннего выявления заболеваний.  Во время поездки представители СМИ оценили условия лечения военнослужащих и работу современного медицинского оборудования. Участникам были продемонстрированы поликлинические, приемные, терапевтические и хирургические отделения, а также лаборатории, оснащённые высокотехнологичными системами диагностики. Особое внимание привлекли мобильный полевой инфекционный госпиталь, операционно-реанимационный комплекс, санитарно-эпидемиологическая лаборатория и дезинфекционно-душевой комплекс.  Журналисты также посетили банно-прачечный комбинат учебного центра Сухопутных войск, обслуживающий более 800 военнослужащих. Годовой объём стирки здесь превышает 220 тыс. кг, а пропускная способность душевого комплекса составляет до 180 человек в час.
