This year, Kazakhstan has demonstrated significant success in the development of volunteerism, confirming its commitment to international standards and strengthening the role of volunteers in solving socially significant tasks. Today, 755 volunteer organizations, 2 thousand initiative groups and 275 thousand volunteers are actively working in Kazakhstan, of which 3.5 thousand are "silver volunteers".In order to stimulate volunteer activity in 2024, a new Roadmap for the development and support of volunteerism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024-2026 was approved. The main emphasis in its implementation is aimed at sectoral volunteering, including social, medical, environmental, animal welfare, as well as support in the field of education, media and emergency response. The National Front Office and 20 regional volunteer front offices are successfully operating in the country, providing information, resource and advisory assistance. In 2024, with their assistance, more than 5,600 events were organized. For the convenience of interaction, a single Call center for volunteering has been created, which has processed over 2,000 requests.
