The Year of Working Professions: How does the development of industry in Sarani affect the training of personnel 24.01.2025
The city of Saran has risen to a new level thanks to the development of the industrial zone. Industries that had never existed before appeared here. For example, they should start producing refrigerators soon. It is planned to open a hot-dip galvanizing plant. Accordingly, the need for personnel has increased.Which specialists need to be trained, and how to strengthen cooperation between education and business – these issues were discussed at the meeting in Sarani. The Saransk Technical College became the organizer of the round table. Representatives of existing enterprises and those who are preparing for the opening participated. The Career Center and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Karaganda region also responded to the invitation.– First of all, I want the locals to feel all the advantages of the industrial zone. In this regard, we are also not standing still. We want to develop with you. We will adapt to you, discover new specialties to meet your needs. I think local residents should be a priority: so that school graduates do not go to study in other cities, but can get a profession and get a job here in Saran," says Alina Yessimkhanova, director of the Saran Technical College. She spoke about the plans to open the Polymer Manufacturing Competence Center. This is relevant because several enterprises in the city are working in this area.New specialties will be opened at the college: "technology of polymer production", "installation and operation of refrigerating compressor machines and installations", "pipe production".The college's social partners include companies operating in the industrial zone. The hot-dip galvanizing plant has not yet opened, but cooperation with it has already begun: a roadmap has been signed. There is an agreement on joint training of welding specialists. There are currently 395 students enrolled at the college. 41% are covered by dual education. The goal is to move further in this direction so that students can gain practical skills in real–world conditions at enterprises.A joint project is also being discussed with the Kazakhstan Khalqyna Foundation. The college wants to equip a modern workshop or laboratory for students studying in the specialty "underground electrician".QazTehna company will open a personal office in the college, renovate the premises at its own expense.– We have been working with Saransk Technical College since the very beginning of the launch of the enterprise. Every year we hire more students to practice and participate in dual education. In general, they faced difficulties in training personnel at the formative stage. For example, there is a single qualification directory of professions, and even there our main specialties were not there. I had to work a lot in this direction. We currently have a strategic partnership with four colleges in the Karaganda region. We are opening a specialty "painter of motor vehicles" with the Transport and Technological College. This year, Kazakhstan was the first to open the Bachelor's degree program in automotive Engineering with Karaganda Industrial University," said Aidos Aitbayev, Head of the QazTehna Corporate University.New memorandums of partnership between the college and enterprises were also signed at the meeting. Today is a professional holiday celebrated by military engineers of the Armed Forces. The Engineering troops were formed in 1993 on the basis of formations and units stationed in Kazakhstan. For more than three decades, significant changes have taken place in the command and control system, their structure and technical equipment.Specialists of the engineering troops carry out fortification equipment of positions, mine clearance of terrain and objects from explosive objects, organize crossings over water barriers, carry out demolition work, lay routes for the movement of troops, are engaged in their water supply, camouflage and imitation. These types of work require soldiers to have thorough technical knowledge, well-thought-out actions, accurate calculations, and sometimes non-standard solutions.Military engineers provided tangible assistance to the local population and business organizations during the spring flood of 2024. Ferry crossings were deployed from the set of the pontoon bridge park on the Uil River in the Aktobe region and on the Yesil in the North Kazakhstan region and Akmola regions. With the help of military engineers, over three thousand people were evacuated from flooded areas, fifteen hundred units of agricultural machinery were transported and over 400 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered.Blasting operations were carried out in Atyrau region to divert flood waters from settlements. In the East Kazakhstan region, transport links were restored on the destroyed section of the road between settlements using a heavy mechanized bridge to provide life support to settlements. In addition, electrical supply of the affected settlements of the Akmola region was organized. The troops are armed with remotely controlled sapper robots, equipment for organizing mine-explosive barriers and conducting engineering reconnaissance, earthmoving machines, drilling rigs for water extraction.Staffed by qualified specialists and equipped with modern military equipment, the units of the engineering troops are always ready to carry out tasks aimed at ensuring the country's defense capability and the safety of the civilian population.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mod/press/news/details/921340
