Digital services with tools for forecasting, modeling and analyzing possible man-made and natural disasters, as well as assessing their consequences, are concentrated here. The basis of the digital services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is the GIS Emergency Geographic Information System, which includes subsystems for monitoring and forecasting various emergencies, such as fires, technological accidents, meteorological disasters and oil spills. The system also uses digital safety data sheets of regions and interactive maps displaying an atlas of natural and man-made emergencies on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including historical data. An important component of the system is the monitoring of the mudflow situation. For this purpose, during the mudflow period, PTZ cameras are used on the Turgen Lakes and the Talgar River dam, as well as an automated monitoring system for moraine lakes using sensors and automated UAVs.
