The head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, discussed with the akims of Kyzylorda and districts, as well as with the heads of departments, the changes made to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Procurement".– Our proposals to increase the responsibility of contracting companies for unfinished facilities were supported by the Parliament of the country and reflected in the new version of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Procurement". In particular, contractors against whom a court decision was issued for failure to meet construction deadlines or non-fulfillment of contractual obligations will not be able to participate in public procurement tenders from 2025. At the same time, starting next year, it is necessary, if possible, to involve more people from among local residents in work at facilities under construction at the expense of the budget. At the same time, I forbid to involve subcontractors in the work. In addition, the issue of the quality of construction works is not removed from the agenda, N.Nalibayev said. The head of the region also instructed the responsible authorities to strengthen measures to prevent corruption risks, including conflicts of interest in the process of public procurement. Among other things, it is said about the need for competent authorities to conduct regular monitoring in order to prevent the purchase of goods and services from a single source and take appropriate measures to prevent and prevent corruption risks in the organization and conduct of tenders.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kyzylorda/press/news/details/894643

A DEVICE FOR PRESERVING ORGANS FOR TRANSPLANTATION HAS BEEN DEVELOPED IN KAZAKHSTAN 02.12.2024
The Kazakh team of cardiac surgeons at the University Medical Center is working on creating a unique device for preserving organs outside the body. This can significantly improve the results of transplants, UMC reports. As part of the project, specialists are developing technologies to preserve a beating heart, as well as "breathing" lungs and a functioning liver. In the future, it is planned to expand to the kidneys. The organ can be kept in a viable state for at least 24 hours. It has been scientifically proven that the functions of the heart outside the body can be maintained for 29 hours with subsequent successful transplantation. Today, only one device - the American OCS system of TransMedics company allows you to safely and effectively maintain the viability of organs."The main difference between our device and the American one is that it implies longer-term support for an isolated organ, and unlike the American counterpart, our system provides for the treatment of an organ throughout the entire period of vital activity outside the body, and we can treat and evaluate this organ by performing ultrasound examination, intravascular examination of arteries, which nourish the heart, and thereby ensure its safety, so that the recipient receives the organ and has no risk of rejection or dysfunction of the transplant and, most importantly, is safe," said Timur Lesbekov, director of the Clinical Academic Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University Medical Center Corporate Foundation.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/dsm/press/news/details/894543

We invite you to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of art with the help of color therapy, sparkling with colors radiating good energy of a positive mood," the organizers note. The exhibition will run until December 11.The museum's address is 76 Bukhar-zhyrau Ave.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/893884
