Neurosurgeons, neuropathologists and intensive care specialists of the city multidisciplinary hospital of Konaev saved the life of a woman with a severe form of intracerebral hemorrhage.She was admitted to a medical facility in a coma as a result of a rupture of a cerebral vessel."The patient was diagnosed with a ruptured aneurysm of the posterior cerebral artery. This complication leads to a neurological deficit, in the form of coma, paresis, and paralysis in the extremities. The results of computed tomography showed extensive hemorrhage in the cerebellum, brain stem, which could lead to brain dislocation and death," says Gulnara Bopeshbaeva, the patient's attending physician.The patient was successfully operated on by neurosurgeon Marat Rimovich Gizatullin. He performed external ventricular drainage.
