A large-scale ski race was held in the village of Lobanovo, Ayyrtau district, which gathered about 300 participants. Providing comprehensive support to young people is one of the main tasks of our state.This year, the second stage of the Aktobe Zhastary housing program was held, for the implementation of which a total of 1 billion tenge was allocated. Over 70 young families have been provided with housing under the program. 500 million tenge has been allocated from the local budget for these purposes.It should be noted that Aktobe region is the leader in the country in youth employment within the framework of the Zhasyl El project. Due to its geographical location, Aktobe region has a high transit potential.This year, it was planned to implement 193 projects worth 64.5 billion tenge to improve the quality of local roads. Over 1.7 million citizens were examined in Kazakhstan in January-September 2024 as part of a large-scale screening program.The results showed that more than 120,000 cases of diseases were detected at an early stage, which confirms the effectiveness of current measures to improve the early diagnosis system.During the screenings, it was revealed:• 100,000 cases of hypertension are one of the most common diseases that can lead to strokes and heart attacks if not promptly identified and controlled.• 20.2 thousand diagnoses of diabetes mellitus are a disease that has become an increasingly urgent problem in the country in recent years.• 5,000 cases of glaucoma, a disease that can lead to blindness if left untreated.In addition, in 2024, the number of detected diseases increased by 15.5% compared to the same period last year. This became possible due to the effective optimization of the patient's route, the introduction of a unified approach to screening and ensuring equal access to medical examinations for citizens regardless of their place of residence.What has changed in the screening system?Some outdated and uninformative laboratory and instrumental methods have been replaced by more modern and highly effective methods with proven accuracy.- glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), (blood glucose was previously determined) for the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus;- glomerular filtration rate for early detection of kidney diseases;- low-density lipoproteins in blood serum to assess the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.- liquid PAP test for early detection of cervical cancer.These approaches will allow:- reduce the number of complications, prevent complications that can lead to disability or death;- make screening more accessible (expand target groups).In addition, from 2025, screening for early detection of the risk of developing cerebral circulatory disorders for men over 50-70 years of age is introduced once every 2 years (UZDG BCA).Molecular genetic testing for the carriage of spinal muscular atrophy will be introduced for girls aged 15-17 years.Screening studies are conducted in Kazakhstan for the early detection of the following 8 most common diseases: arterial hypertension (1 time in 2 years) coronary heart disease (once every 2 years) diabetes mellitus (1 time in 2 years) Glaucoma (once every 2 years) Cervical cancer (once every 4 years) Breast cancer (once every 2 years) Colorectal cancer (once every 2 years) viral hepatitis (no more than once every 3-6 months).The Ministry of Health calls on all citizens to take care of their health and regularly undergo free screenings.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/dsm/press/news/details/906006
