FIRST LIVER TRANSPLANTATION HELD IN TURKESTAN REGION 21.02.2025
Liver transplantation is one of the most complex operations in modern surgery. However, thanks to the high qualification and coordinated work of the specialists of the A. Syzganov National Research Institute headed by Professor B. Baimakhanov, the operation in the region was successful.Patient Nurmetova Ulyana, 48 years old, suffered from cirrhosis of the liver. Since 2019, he has been under the supervision of a gastroenterologist, diagnosed with class B viral cirrhosis according to the Child-Turcotte-Pugh classification. He received outpatient and inpatient treatment. The disease was complicated by portal hypertension, edema, and hypersplenism syndrome, which complicated the patient's condition. Despite long-term treatment, his condition deteriorated, and a liver transplant was the only chance to save his life.The patient's 19-year-old daughter, Elvira Sakhavitdinova, was the donor, and underwent a comprehensive medical examination.The liver transplant was performed on the basis of the Turkestan Regional Clinic by specialists from the National Scientific Center for Surgery and under the leadership of academician B. Baimakhanov. V. Mutagirov, M. Zhumabekova (anesthesiologists), M. Doskhanov, S. Tileuov, Zh. Ospan (surgeons) and specialists from the Regional Clinical Hospital actively worked on this operation.Currently, the patient is under the dynamic supervision of doctors. 115 SCHOOLS TO BE RENOVATED IN TURKESTAN REGION 21.02.2025

In accordance with the Rules for the development of the Regional Emblem Project, approved by the Order of the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 503-НН dated October 30, 2024, applications for the development of the regional emblem of the Turkestan region are accepted within 3 months (from December 30, 2024 to March 30, 2025).Requirements for the regional emblem project:1. The development of the project is based on the principles of:- strengthening public harmony and national unity,- preserving heraldic symbols,- taking into account the national traditions, historical, cultural, geographical, socio-economic features of the region.2. When developing a project, it is prohibited to use the image of the State Flag and the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as images of religious, tribal and ethnic symbols.3. When developing a project, the following should be taken into account:- the project is a new work that has not been used before and, by its uniqueness, determines the formation of the future direction of development of the local area;- the visual component of the project, a three-dimensional image and (or) a model, has a clear relief;- official names, inscriptions and other texts in the project are written in the Kazakh language;- when developing a project, violation of copyright and (or) related rights, plagiarism is not allowed.4. A special rating calculation system has been developed to assess the work of district and city akimats and departments of the Turkestan region. At the same time, monitoring of the implementation of plans in the field of public procurement will be strengthened. These issues were discussed at the weekly meeting of the regional akimat administration. We systematically discuss the implementation of indicators at staff meetings.
