On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, blockade runners and concentration camp prisoners on the holiday. The winners were greeted by a brass band performing songs from the war years, and a lively corridor of pupils from the Begeldinov Republican Military School escorted the guests to the covered dastarkhan. An exhibition of museum exhibits and military equipment was also organizedto commemorate the heroic pages of history.Today, 8 war veterans, 2,634 home front workers, 116 widows of front-line soldiers, 29 concentration camp prisoners and 10 Leningrad blockade survivors live in the Karaganda region.— Dear veterans! This year is special — 80 years of Victory. You have honorably fulfilled your duty to the Motherland by showing indomitable courage. Your life path is an example for young people, a bridge between the past and the future. We are deeply indebted to you. I wish you good health, long life and happiness to your families! — Ermaganbet Bulekpayev addressed the audience. As a sign of gratitude, veterans, blockade runners, concentration camp prisoners and home front workers were awarded jubilee medals "80 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War".The participants of the meeting recalled the war years.100-year-old Grigory Petrovich Stepenko was drafted to the front when he was not even eighteen. I went through heavy battles. This year, he will travel to Astana for the Victory Day Parade as part of a delegation from the region."I just want today's children to never learn what war is," he says. — Love yourself and take care of our land!Anna Nikonorovna Kotova came to the military enlistment office three times to go to the front. My friend and I were shouting and rejoicing. And even after 80 years, these memories make her happy," the veteran recalls. — And we returned home only in 1946. I wish you all good health, peaceful skies and delicious bread. May no generation of our country know what war is anymore! It has been 80 years since the cannonade of guns died down, and Viktor Semenovich Abramenkov still remembers everything as if it were yesterday. Sisters from Shakhtinsk won gold at the Asian Boxing Championship 08.05.2025
The sisters from Shakhtinsk Ayaulym and Kamilla Ospanov brought two gold medals of the Asian championship to the piggy bank of the Kazakh national team. The International Junior Championship from 18 countries was held in Amman (Jordan). More than 400 athletes from 15 to 17 years old participated in it.Ayaulym is 13 years old, she won a gold medal in the weight category up to 63 kg.,and Camila is 16, she became the first in the weight class up to 70 kg.The girls have been preparing for the championship for a long time and carefully. According to their father and coach Zhenis Ospanov, they came to the competition at the peak of their form.– The rivals were very strong, the fights were intense. Athletes from India, Uzbekistan and Ukraine were the strongest. But we knew that this would happen, we knew who Camilla and Ayaulym would fight. We can say that we were confident of victory," says Zhenis Ospanov. Both girls became interested in boxing themselves, looking at their father and famous Kazakhstani athletes. Ayaulym was most impressed by Firuza Sharipova, whose fight the girl saw on TV in 2017.– It was a fight at Expo-2017. Then Ayaulym said: "I want the same thing." And since then, at the age of 7, she has been training. Camilla, the eldest, joined boxing a little later when she was 12 years old. In general, of course, there are difficulties in coaching daughters. Usually, if the coach swears, the kids don't pay much attention to it. And then, because I'm a dad, they get offended. But we have a rule: I'm the dad at home, and the coach in class. Of course, there are advantages in this too: my daughters are always under supervision, always near," Zhenis Ospanov shared. Now the girls need rest and recovery after intense competitions. Then they will start preparing for the Asian Games in Bahrain and the World Cup.The performance at the Asian Championship was a success for the Kazakh national team as a whole. Our athletes took first place in the overall standings, winning 44 awards, including 16 gold, 15 silver and 13 bronze. Uzbekistan is on the second line with 42 awards, India closed the top three with 43.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/988271?lang=kk

The future of the labor market: how to solve the shortage of workers in the Karaganda region 05.05.2025
How can we train specialists who will be able to work with future technologies if the education system is lagging behind? The participants of the forum "The Future of the labor market", which was held in Karaganda under the chairmanship of Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev, were looking for answers to this and other questions. The meeting brought together representatives of government, business and education — everyone who depends on who and how will work for the region's economy in the coming years.— The economy is growing, technology is changing, and graduates are increasingly not ready for the demands of production,— said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. — With the launch of new enterprises, it is planned to create more than 17,000 jobs this year. To ensure that they do not remain empty, we must prepare the appropriate personnel right now. Our task is to synchronize the education system with the real demands of the market.According to the Department of Employment, the region will need at least 2017 skilled workers in 2025 alone. And within the framework of 17 investment projects, more than 2,700 vacancies have been announced at new enterprises. Employment programs, ranging from youth practice to support for active retirees, are designed to solve this problem. One of the successful cases is the QazTehna plant. After the launch, the company faced an acute shortage of personnel, but after two years the problem was almost completely closed.— We realized that it's useless to wait for someone to train the right specialists for us. We need to participate ourselves," says Aidos Aitbayev, head of the corporate university. — We have signed a strategic memorandum until 2030. The main focus is on the training of transport repair and maintenance specialists, as well as welders. This year, on the basis of the Karaganda Transport and Technological College, we are launching a task force for the training of painters. The curriculum was developed together, and it has already been approved. The plant has implemented more than 160 targeted grants and cooperates with four leading colleges in the region — Karaganda Higher Polytechnic, Mining and Industrial, Transport and Technological and Saran Technical.Employers are increasingly directly involved in the creation of educational programs — through industrial councils, they form modules and competencies based on the demands of production. In response, colleges prepare licenses for new, sought-after specialties.Promising areas include automotive engineering, additive technologies, hydraulic engineering, information security, polymer and pipe production, graphic and multimedia design."The Automation and Production Technology program is being launched on the basis of our college," says Zhanar Rakhimova, Director of Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College. — It covers modern processes: Graduates will be able not only to maintain equipment, but also to program production lines. These are specialists of a new generation — technicians with IT competencies.Of the 52 colleges in the region, 38 have already switched to a dual education system, in which students practice directly at enterprises.A Career Development Center has been established, new programs are being implemented and an international exchange of experience has been established with China, Germany, Turkey, Finland and other countries. This expands the horizons of employment for graduates.A separate topic of the forum is career guidance. Choosing a profession early increases the chances that a graduate will work in their specialty rather than waste years in college. On September 1, a new career guidance system based on the Edumark electronic diary will be launched in the region. The Profiway platform will collect data on students' academic performance, interests, and activities to form personalized recommendations.— The system will create an individual portrait of the child and tell you in which direction it is worth developing, — explained Aidana Akynova, head of the Profiway project at the Center for Innovative Technologies "Orleu".At the end of the forum, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev stressed that it is necessary to return to the initiatives discussed in order to summarize the interim results and see the results.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/987748?lang=kk
