Digital Finance day is being held in Astana, dedicated to the issues of digitalization in the management of the public financial system. In Paris, on the eve of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to France, the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva met with the Minister of Culture of France Rashida Dati. The discussion was devoted to the prospects of expanding cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and France.The Ministers noted significant progress in cultural relations, stressing the importance of mutual visits by the presidents of the two countries, which give new impetus to joint initiatives.During the meeting, the parties signed a number of agreements, including a Declaration of Intent on cooperation in the field of museums and cultural heritage, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Hime Museum."The promotion and integration of the Kazakh historical and cultural heritage into the global humanitarian landscape is one of the priorities of the state's cultural policy," Aida Balayeva said.It was also proposed to strengthen cooperation in the research field and organize internships for Kazakhstani specialists within the framework of the Courants du Monde program."I am glad that this state visit of President Tokayev to France provides for a wide range of cultural issues.
