  Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to actively work on teaching children the basics of safety in emergency situations.   The goal of this work is not only to teach children to behave correctly in emergency situations, but also to instill a safety culture in children from an early age in order to prevent possible tragic situations in the future.   In a kindergarten in Shymkent, young pupils met with real rescuers. This educational event allowed children to learn how to behave in emergency situations and avoid dangers in everyday life. Rescuers told children about the rules of conduct in emergency situations and explained how important it is not to panic, but to immediately call 101 or 112 and quickly leave a dangerous place.   The practical part of the meeting included a “practice evacuation” of children from a building, during which the children were able to work out the algorithm of actions in case of a fire. The opportunity to try on the rescuers' uniforms and get acquainted with their equipment was a special joy.   At the Pavlodar comprehensive school, the Emergency Situations Department employees conducted a training course on the basics of fire safety for students in grades 4-6. The children learned how to prevent fires and properly use primary fire extinguishing equipment, including a fire extinguisher. The rescuers showed special equipment and told about its use, which aroused the children's interest.   Special attention was paid to the rules of conduct near water bodies and ice in winter.
