Olzhas Bektenov: The Government is implementing the President's instructions to ensure economic growth and improve the quality of life of citizens 01.02.2025
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the implementation of the instructions given by the Head of State at the expanded meeting of the Government on January 28 of this year.Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers and leaders of a number of organizations reported on plans to ensure the growth of economic sectors, improve the legislative environment for investors, develop the production of rare earth metals, create a nuclear cluster, reform the subsoil use sector, modernize road and transport-logistics, engineering infrastructure, ensure the principle of "Law and Order", introduce digital solutions and artificial intelligence, and further improve the quality of education and medical services. The Prime Minister noted that the main focus of the work in the coming period is to ensure economic growth aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens. The Government will make prompt decisions in all areas and ensure the timely implementation of the President's instructions."We must actively work to attract investments, reform tax and budget policy and the subsoil use sector, strengthen the country's competitive advantages, improve the business climate, develop infrastructure and energy, revise the entire system of digitalization and the social security system for the population. The Government has sufficient powers for this. Ministers and akims must be fully responsible for making prompt decisions and implementing the tasks set. In each area that the Head of State mentioned yesterday, we need concrete results, effective work from each leader, both at the center and in localities. We need to engage in solving specific problems of investors, and not make a fuss, but, on the contrary, help entrepreneurs come, develop, build factories, enterprises, and industries. Every leader should consider this the main principle of his work. Only concrete work is needed. It is impossible to achieve positive results in new conditions using old, bureaucratic work methods and formalism. I instruct state bodies to focus on the high-quality implementation of the tasks assigned by the Head of State, to take decisive measures without undue haste and without delay.
