"Adal urpak": meeting of voluntary school clubs held in Astana 16.11.2024

Construction of LRT depot started in Astana 16.11.2024
With the beginning of the winter period, the LRT project in the capital is entering the stage of construction of a key infrastructure facility — a depot, which will be located on an area of 16.84 hectares in the area of the International Airport. The depot will become an important center for the maintenance and management of the LRT system, the official website of the Mayor's Office of Astana reports with reference to CTS.The total area of the depot buildings will be about 80 thousand m2, where all the necessary facilities for full-fledged maintenance and repair of rolling stock will be located. The complex includes a building for washing wagons, warehouses for spare parts and equipment, specialized equipment for maintaining and repairing tracks, as well as administrative premises for training and advanced training of personnel.A control center for unmanned trains will also be created on the territory of the depot.
