Flood control measures are actively carried out in the Zhetysu region. So, in September of this year, work on shore protection of the Burakhudzir riverbed in the Panfilov district was completed. Three rivers flow through it – the Kora, Shazha and Tekeli, and all of them merge together right in the city and form the Karatal River. In this regard, experts note that Tekeli has a high level of flood danger.
