This is due to the fact that out of 380 vertical drainage wells located in the district, 210 failed, which led to an increase in the groundwater level.The Kiikbai Stroy Service company is engaged in the construction of 97 drains on a total area of 16,010 hectares, including 47 wells on 7,932 hectares in the rural district of Maktaly, 41 wells on 5,766 hectares in the rural district of Kyzylkum and 9 wells on 2,312 hectares in the rural district of Abai. Currently, 46 new vertical drainage wells have been drilled.Another company, Art-Kurylys LLP, plans to install 113 drainage wells on 19,911 hectares of 35,921 hectares of irrigated land. This year, within the framework of the Auyl Amanaty project, priority has been given to the development of animal husbandry and other types of business in the Mangystau region. 24 projects in animal husbandry are being funded, and 30 initiatives in other types of business have been supported.
