Military education reforms: Military departments to review student training programs 16.11.2024
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, held a meeting with the heads of military departments of higher educational institutions of the country. The head of the Defense Department brought his views on the development of military education to the participants of the meeting. He instructed to review the military training programs for reserve officers and sergeants at military departments, taking into account the criteria set by the Armed Forces.- In light of the current geopolitical situation, the President of the country, the Supreme Commander–in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, pays close attention to the development of training citizens for military service. But at the same time, we do not pay due attention to reserve officers. All activities of military departments should be aimed at obtaining solid knowledge of military affairs. The range of activities of military departments should expand. They should become centers of military training and military-patriotic education of young people," the Minister of Defense noted.Currently, work is underway to make additions and amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan to improve military training and retraining of military personnel. As part of the new requirements, the Ministry of Defense will be given the competence to monitor and analyze military training in educational institutions. In addition, training of reserve rank-and-file will be introduced at military departments in certain scarce specialties.- The military department is not one of the ways to get a military ID, it is not an opportunity to "skip" the service. First of all, this is our reserve. Commissioned officers and military personnel who have graduated from the military department must join the troops and apply their knowledge in practice. And your task is to educate them in the spirit of high patriotism," the Defense Minister continued.During the meeting, reports were announced on the current status of accounting for reserve officers and sergeants who graduated from the military department and their conscription. The head of the Military Department of Astana IT University, Major General Alexander Ashirov, reported on the change of curricula and adaptation of the program of training camps held at the military department by analogy with the Sardar course. The training camp continued at the Military College named after Hero of the Soviet Union Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov, where the heads of military departments were tested for knowledge of normative legal acts. More than 220 thousand people were covered by the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan" in the field of Zhetisu 16.11.2024
In the field of Zhetisu, within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program, along with eco-actions and traditional clean-up days, information and explanatory work among the population, as well as work in the direction of charity, has been organized. So, on November 1, a meeting with young people on the theme "Eco-Time" was held at the Taldykorgan Youth Service Center, during which the organizers explained in detail to the participants how to properly sort garbage, how to effectively organize charity events and other similar events. In this regard, it is worth noting local volunteer Gaziz Amanzholuly, who since 2021 has been making an invaluable contribution to the ecology of his hometown by organizing separate sorting of household garbage in the yard of his house: polyethylene, paper, metal, household waste and plastic products, urging all citizens to take an example from this undertaking. The eco-activist sells the collected waste to waste recycling enterprises on a monthly basis, and transfers the proceeds to charitable foundations, one of which is the Hareket Foundation. Thus, the public figure solves two important issues at once.In addition, in August 2024, in support of the republican action, Amanzholuly, on his own initiative and with sponsorship, distributed 100 garbage sorting containers free of charge to low-income families of Taldykorgan and explained the ways to properly sort garbage. At the same time, the specialists of the Youth Service Center of the region organized the action "Clean Environment". The purpose of the event is to maintain cleanliness in the building itself, to ensure safety and comfort in the workplace. Specialists and technical staff of the Youth Service Center took part in the action. It should be noted that since the start of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, 1990 units of equipment have been involved in the Zhetisu region, as a result of which 10,714 tons of garbage have been removed, 2,445 km of the irrigation network have been cleaned. During the campaign, more than 38 thousand seedlings of coniferous and deciduous trees were planted in the region. In general, the actively organized republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan" has found wide and huge support among the widest segments of the population of Zhetisu.
