Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Trade and Consumer Protection in the Ulytau region has brought 243 trade entities to administrative responsibility for non-compliance with trade legislation. Since the beginning of 2024, 226 trade entities have been prosecuted for violating paragraph 1 of Article 9 of the Law "On Regulation of Trade Activities" — exceeding the maximum trade allowance of 15% for socially significant food products, according to Article 204-4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Large-scale events were organized in the framework of the national environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" in the Ulytau region. On this day, cleaning campaigns were held in all cities and districts of the region.The main goal of the large–scale campaign is, along with cleaning the territories, to draw the attention of residents to the need to take care of the environment. Despite the cold snap, all participants in environmental events showed high activity. Among the participants of environmental events are representatives of local executive bodies, public organizations, students, activists and ordinary residents of cities and districts. In total, more than 1,700 people and 51 units of special equipment from 165 teams are involved in the campaign. On September 2, 2024, the international multi-indicator cluster survey (MIX) developed by UNICEF began in Kazakhstan. The survey will cover 5 regions of our region.From September 2 to November 29, interviewers will conduct surveys in cities and villages of the region. The questionnaires contain various aspects of life and health, including sanitation, education and other important indicators. All questionnaires have been approved by relevant government agencies. The interviewers will be dressed in a special uniform and have badges with all contact details.We urge the households that our interviewers will contact to be sympathetic to this survey.
