President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his New Year's greetings: “We must adequately celebrate the anniversary of the great Abai.” The government is undertaking a lot of work in this direction. As a region named after a thinker, the burden of responsibility is heavy on us. We must start preparing for the anniversary at a high level from now on. We will give priority to educational and instructive events,” the head of the region said. The regional akim also visited the Kunanbai cemetery in Akshoky, made a pilgrimage, and got acquainted with the work of the Kunanbai museum.
