Drinking water appeared for the first time in the Kolsai neighborhood of Almaty 28.11.2024
In the mkr. New water infrastructure facilities have been launched in Kolsai Medeu district of Almaty, which provided access to the central water supply system. As part of a working detour of the Medeu district, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the results of construction work. There were no utility networks in the residential area, which was annexed to the city in 2014. They were built only in 2021, but the water supply became possible thanks to the implementation of the large-scale Balkhash project, carried out on behalf of the Mayor of Almaty this year. 5 reservoirs with a capacity of 6.9 thousand cubic meters and 3 wells with a capacity of 7.3 thousand cubic meters per day were built along the emergency line.Within the framework of this project in the MD. Kolsai this year, a main water supply network was built connecting the microdistrict with a water source - the Balkhash water intake station, with the installation of a pumping station and a reservoir with a volume of 400 cubic meters. As a result, more than 2 thousand residents of the MKR are covered by central communications. Kolsai. In addition, this highway will provide uninterrupted water supply to the MKR. Jubilee, where about 4 thousand people live."The Head of State pays special attention to the water supply and sanitation of the city of Almaty. According to the instruction of the President, we intend to provide 100% coverage, especially in the upper part of the city, in the Medeu and Bostandyk districts, where the annexed territories are located, which have long remained out of attention. Md. Kolsai confirms this: there was nothing here, former horticultural associations, narrow corridors. We have built not only new networks, but also installed additional pumping stations and water reservoirs in order to provide these areas with stable and reliable water supply. We are not only working with networks, but also improving the road infrastructure. In accordance with the new standards for the implementation of such projects, work is underway to restore asphalt pavement to the entire width of streets to ensure the comfort of citizens," Yerbolat Dosayev said. The head of the city noted that for 2025-2026 this work in the district will be continued. In two years, it is planned to build engineering networks with a total length of 136 km, covering more than 20 thousand residents of the district."Special attention is being paid to the Medeu district, and all neighborhoods will be put in order. In particular, mkr. Kamenskoye plateau, where we will build almost 50 km of networks. We will also cover the mkr. A mining giant, which is perceived by many as a prosperous area, but in fact there are no engineering networks in its upper part, so almost 30 km of new networks will be laid there. The MKR will be covered by engineering communications. Alatau, located 25 km from the city. I think by the end of 2025, the contours of the looped systems will be outlined and maximum water supply will be provided," the Mayor of Almaty summed up.It should be noted that the water supply of the upper part of the Medeu district is located in the zone of influence of surface sources. In 2022, there was a 2.5–fold decrease in the water level in wells - from 150 to 60 m3. Then the mayor of the city decided to implement the first large-scale project to connect residents to underground water supply sources. Thanks to its launch, today more than 20 thousand residents of the Medeu district are provided with central communications. In addition, 79.3 km of trunk and distribution engineering networks have been built in the district in two years. 14 pumping stations, 7 clean water reservoirs, 3 wells, and a water tower have been installed. Today, more than 35 thousand residents of the district, including remote areas where there has never been a sewer system, are provided with central communications. In general, 219 km of new water supply and sanitation networks have been built in Almaty on behalf of Yerbolat Dosayev since the beginning of 2024, 27.3 km of existing networks have been modernized, which made it possible to reach about 60 thousand subscribers. In 2025, it is planned to build 240 km and modernize 48 km of networks. Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/892508

The project "Inclusion in Ecology – a New Year's miracle" starts in Almaty 28.11.2024
The project "Inclusion in Ecology – a New Year's miracle" starts in Almaty on November 28. As part of the campaign, anyone can purchase Christmas tree toys and decorations for offices and other institutions made by children with special needs. The toys will be made of recycled plastic and painted by children as part of creative workshops with eco-trainers.Both individuals and organizations of the city can participate in the project. Companies can invite their employees to take part in a challenge, during which each of them will purchase one or more Christmas tree toys. The Eco-Hub accepts an application for the manufacture of toys and invites a partner rehabilitation center or comes to the children to transfer ready-made materials for creativity. Children, together with eco-trainers, make Christmas decorations, which can then be used by companies to decorate offices, shop windows, restaurants or city Christmas trees. Some of the toys may remain with children to decorate their rehabilitation centers. After the process is completed, each company receives a report from the Eco-Hub, as well as a link to a video from the events.Evgeny Mukhamedzhanov, the initiator of the project, says that the idea of the action did not arise by chance: "Special children come to our master classes who are interested in making new toys with their own hands. We noticed that it is here that they feel needed and involved in the holiday, they are doing well here. Therefore, we wanted their work to be appreciated by society. And tomorrow, if they see their toy on the city Christmas tree, in the window of a store or restaurant, their hearts will flutter even more," he shares.Eco-friendly and creative toys are ideal for New Year's corporate boxes, office decoration and retail outlets. It is important that if toys lose their relevance after the holidays, they can be recycled again and new products can be created, maintaining an eco-friendly recycling cycle. For more information, residents can contact the Eco-Hub at 44 Markova Street or by phone +7 707 358 9992 .Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/892265
33 violators: in Almaty, they are fined for storing bulky garbage in the wrong places 28.11.2024
In Almaty, within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan", work has intensified to identify violators of landscaping Rules related to improper storage of bulky garbage in the wrong places.Over the past week, during joint raids with the Police Department, 33 violators were identified, who were fined between 20 and 30 MCI according to the law. Improper waste disposal leads to contamination of public areas, complicates the work of garbage collection companies and violates the sanitary condition of courtyards. Garbage trucks cannot take out bulky waste and construction debris, as this may damage their pressing equipment.Recall that according to the Rules of improvement of the city of Almaty, enterprises, institutions and individuals must independently remove bulky garbage or conclude an export agreement with garbage collection organizations. Residents who carry out repairs or have accumulated bulky waste should contact specialized organizations to remove garbage for a fee or independently deliver it to landfills located in Ili (Almaty - Ust-Kamenogorsk highway, 34/1 https://go.2gis.com/5wg4xn ) and Karasai (Aitei village, 144th accounting quarter, 4690 https://2gis.kz/almaty/geo/70000001051600536 ) districts of the Almaty region. According to Article 505 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, violation of the Rules of landscaping entails fines in the amount of 20 to 100 MCI.In order to improve the sanitary condition in 2024-2025, it is planned to install more than 2,000 new buried containers in Almaty. These containers will reduce the area occupied by garbage cans, prevent the spread of unpleasant odors and restrict access to garbage for animals. A massive replacement of old lamps with new ones is taking place in Almaty 28.11.2024
In Almaty, on behalf of the mayor of the city, Yerbolat Dosayev, old mercury and sodium (HCS and RCU) lanterns are being replaced with new LED lights. In 10 months of this year, more than five thousand lighting fixtures have already been replaced in the city. The replacement of lamps covered entire streets and neighborhoods. For example, in the Nauryzbai district, 335 new lanterns were installed instead of the old ones at the intersection of Abai and Alatau Avenues. 260 lamps were replaced on Suyunbai Avenue in the Turksib district from Bekmakhanov Street to Krasnogorskaya. 120 lamps were changed on the streets of the Kokzhiyok microdistrict in the Zhetysu district, the same number in the Zerdeli microdistrict of the Alatau district."We had old yellow lanterns in the Shapagat neighborhood near school No. 151, which burned very dimly, it was still dark outside with the lights on. The children returned from lessons in semi-darkness, the parents worried and complained to the akimat. And now they finally heard us. The Almaty Kala Zharyk brigade arrived and replaced all the lanterns with new ones. They shine very brightly, now it's light outside at night, like in the daytime, we thank the company and the akimat for their comfort and care," says Sarah Janetova, an activist of the microdistrict."We are very glad that new powerful lamps have been installed for us, which now fully illuminate all the courtyards and the roadway on Bayseitova Street, where I live. There used to be old lamps here, which were of little use, they illuminated only a small spot in front of them and that was it. In addition, as we have learned, the new fixtures are much more economical. Previously, we had lamps of 300 and even 500 watts, now we have installed 100-watt ones, and there is much more light from them," explains Alexey Kasyanov from Almaty. As told in Almaty Kala Zharyk, a high-quality LED lamp can continuously work up to 50,000 hours – this is 30 times longer than old-style devices. At the same time, energy savings can reach up to 90%. In addition, LED lamps do not cause difficulties with disposal, since they do not contain mercury and sodium.Work on replacing old fixtures with new ones will continue in 2025. They are conducted jointly with the district akimats, on whose balance sheet the city's outdoor lighting lines consist.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/892248

About 160 thousand seedlings: planting of green spaces continues in Almaty 27.11.2024
The autumn landscaping campaign in Almaty, which started in October this year within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan", is actively continuing. At the moment, about 160 thousand seedlings have been planted in the city.An important innovation in 2023 was the new Rules of landscaping, introduced on behalf of the mayor of the city. According to the rules, three years of care for planted trees is now mandatory, which ensures a more effective process of adaptation of plants to the urban environment. Strict requirements for planting materials have also been introduced: the height of deciduous seedlings should be at least 2.5-3 meters, and coniferous seedlings should be at least 2 meters, preserving the lump of earth during planting to improve the survival of trees.Residents note that the quality of the planted materials has significantly improved in the city."With the new rules on landscaping, it has become much more pleasant to walk in the city. The trees that are being planted now really look better - they are stronger, greener and grow well. Previously, many plants did not take root, but now we see how trees develop and become street decorations. This makes our city even more beautiful and comfortable to live in," says resident Anna."Now it is clear that the approaches to gardening have really changed. The trees that we now see on the streets are much stronger and healthier. Previously, planted plants often did not take root due to the wrong approach, but now you can see how they grow and become part of the urban beauty," says a resident of the Auezovsky district of Denmark. In order to increase the survival rate of seedlings, as well as to obtain scientific recommendations, joint work is underway with specialized organizations - the Main Botanical Garden of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the KazNII for Plant Protection and Quarantine named after Zh. Zhiembayev. According to the received recommendations of experts, in the autumn-winter period, planting should be carried out only with a closed lump of earth, and when subzero temperatures occur, imported soil should be used to fill the seats. Scientists also recommend paying attention to the threshold values: when planting, the comfortable temperature for hardwoods is up to – 8 °C, for conifers not lower than -15 ° C degrees below zero.Recall that in Almaty, on the eve of the winter period, within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" and the city campaign "Almaty is our common home", a large–scale cleaning of the street and road network, public places, riverbeds, street urns and a ditch network is being carried out.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/891062
Since the beginning of the year, 95 previously unlit sites have been eliminated in Almaty 27.11.2024
On behalf of the mayor of the city, Yerbolat Dosayev, work continues in Almaty to provide citizens with high-quality outdoor lighting. One of its directions is the elimination of areas where historically there were no street lights. For 10 months of this year, the teams of the Almaty Kala Zharyk State Enterprise illuminated 95 courtyards, streets and alleys, installing more than 500 supports and brackets and the same number of lamps there. The length of the previously unlit sections was 20 kilometers."We have never had lighting in the Kemel microdistrict along Kazanat Street in the Kapshagai highway area. There are a lot of people living here, before everyone got home in the dark. It was especially difficult for schoolchildren and pensioners. After contacting Almaty Kala Zharyk, new lampposts were installed, lighting was connected, it became much more comfortable, for which I am very grateful. Now we live like people," says Bakhyt Arystanova, Chairman of the Kazanat AXIS"Our Mukaeva Street in the Akbulak microdistrict is a dead end, and for some reason there was no street lighting at the very end of it. And a large family lives here, and it was very scary for the students to return from classes in the dark. Lighting was installed very quickly, literally the next day after contacting Almaty Kala Zharyk, a team arrived, dug holes and installed poles. A day later, the lanterns were hung up and connected, and now we have a bright and bright street, it's a real holiday for the residents. A huge human thank you to everyone," says Lunara Sembayeva, a resident of the Alatau district.According to Almaty Kala Zharyk, by the end of the year, 25 more previously unlit streets and alleys will be illuminated in the city. The installation of new light points is carried out at the request of district akimats, which form lists of problem areas. According to them, a work plan and a connection schedule are drawn up. Information is currently being prepared on the elimination of unlit areas for 2025.In general, in just 10 months of this year, more than 27 thousand lamps were installed and replaced in Almaty, about 300 km of cable was stretched, and more than two thousand new lighting poles were installed. 24.5 thousand applications from citizens have been processed, which is 93% of all received. More than 5.5 thousand short circuits and about 4 thousand line breaks have been eliminated. 45 km of lighting on main streets have been repaired.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/891065

Thank you to everyone who took part in this important matter!", - thanks a resident of the district Galina."Flooding at the intersection of Makataev and Zhumaliev streets was a real headache for all local residents. In heavy rains, water not only flooded roads, but also got into the basements of houses, creating serious problems. I am very glad that this situation has now been changed - after the work done, the water no longer stagnates. Now we can safely walk and move along the street without fear that it will rain and flood everything again," shares Yerlan, a resident of Zhumalieva Street.Recall that in Almaty, on the eve of the winter period, within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" and the city campaign "Almaty is our common home", a large–scale cleaning of the street and road network, public places, riverbeds, street urns and a ditch network is being carried out.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/890994
