Traffic has been opened on the new bridge in the Zhetysu district of Almaty 09.12.2024
The technical opening of the bridge in the MD took place in Almaty. Kemel of Zhetysu district, the construction of which was started in August this year. Earlier, on behalf of the head of the megalopolis, Yerbolat Dosayev, traffic on the bridge was closed due to its emergency condition and it was decided to build a new one.The new single–span bridge structure was erected in the shortest possible time - in almost 4 months. As part of the first stage of the work, the dismantling of the emergency bridge, the reconstruction of engineering networks, the installation of 29-meter drilling piles, the installation of supports and retaining networks were carried out.The built bridge is almost twice as long as the old one: 33 meters versus 16.8 meters. The width has also been increased from 8.5 to 14.5 meters, and a pedestrian sidewalk of 1.5 meters each has been organized on both sides of the roadway. The new bridge is fully completed and meets all standards. It has passed all the necessary checks and tests, ensuring safe movement for motorists and pedestrians. As part of the second stage, work continues on strengthening the riverbed and landscaping, including lighting. In addition, the riverbed will be cleared of a temporary base for equipment. These works are planned to be carried out by the end of this month.Recall that a technical inspection of the bridge structure of the 1960s carried out in June revealed partial destruction of concrete structures, the appearance of cracks on the bridge supports, the absence of a deformation seam and more.Local residents do not hide their joy at the completion of the bridge, which was erected much faster than the regulatory deadlines."We expected a long repair of the old bridge, but we were pleasantly surprised that a new one was built, moreover, in a very short time. It can be seen that the work was carried out efficiently and with convenience for pedestrians. We can confidently say that it will last for decades," Yulia Khvalynskaya said.Semeygul Ziyadanova also appreciated the new bridge. "This bridge is of great importance for the residents of the neighborhood, because several bus routes pass through it, as well as a school bus. It is indispensable for residents of the region and those who go to nearby villages. Without him, the daily trips were much longer," she said.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/898841

Yerbolat Dosayev: Modern technologies of solid waste collection will be introduced in Almaty 07.12.2024
Within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" in 2025, Almaty will completely modernize the infrastructure for the collection of solid household waste (MSW). This was announced by Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev during the session of the city maslikhat, which adopted the city budget for 2025-2027.The large-scale MSW infrastructure modernization project is aimed at improving the environmental situation, increasing the comfort of citizens and meeting modern standards of sanitary cleaning. Among the key stages of modernization is an increase in the number of buried containers (with a volume of 3 m3), which prevent the appearance of unpleasant odors and the access of birds or stray animals.Today, over 8 thousand containers are operating in Almaty, located at 1,454 container sites. In 2023, 214 containers were installed at 42 sites, and this year the number of such containers has increased by 786 units. In 2025, 1,683 more containers will be installed at 581 sites.Another stage is the purchase of plastic Euro containers: 1,800 containers with a volume of 1.1 m3 were purchased in 2024, and another 1,000 containers are planned to be purchased in 2025."The city is experiencing high wear and tear and the "moral" obsolescence of the solid waste collection infrastructure created in 2012. In this regard, its deep modernization has been carried out since 2023. 1 thousand buried containers and 1.8 thousand Euro containers have already been updated. In 2025, the complete modernization of all container sites in the city will be completed by installing another 2.7 thousand new containers," Yerbolat Dosayev said.In addition, the daily output of garbage trucks on the line has increased from 70% in 2023 to 85% in 2024, and in 2025 it will be increased to 95%.Thus, in 2025, the share of modernized container sites will reach 100%. These measures will not only improve the efficiency of waste collection, but also create conditions for further implementation of the principles of separate garbage collection and recycling.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/898119

All elements are made of high-strength materials, including high-melting steel, resistant to extreme weather conditions. Vandal-proof structures have been used, which ensures the durability and reliability of the infrastructure even under intensive operation.Special attention is paid to safety: reliable river crossings have been built, as well as sections of routes adapted for people with different levels of physical fitness. The work was carried out taking into account the high popularity of these areas among residents and visitors of the city. Convenient and safe routes are designed not only to improve the hiking experience, but also to emphasize the natural wealth of the region.A systematic approach to the improvement of Almaty's mountain routes contributes to the creation of new points of attraction for tourists. One of the striking examples is the bench installed in 2023 at the peak of the Baby as part of comprehensive infrastructure improvement works. Malysh Peak has already been popular among tourists and nature lovers, however, in order to increase interest in this route, there was a need for additional emphasis - now the bench has become an important element that has turned the object into a unique tourist attraction. The Almaty Tourism Department urges tourists and residents of the city to observe safety measures, take into account weather conditions, carefully prepare for mountain walks, and adhere to a culture of behavior in the natural environment. It is necessary to take care of nature and urban infrastructure, keep clean, clean up garbage and preserve the unique beauty of the surrounding landscapes for future generations.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/898155

Work is underway in Almaty to improve the sanitary condition 07.12.2024
As part of comprehensive measures to improve the sanitary condition and aesthetics of Almaty in 2025, it is planned to build 581 new container sites and install 1,683 deep-type containers. This became known during an extraordinary session of the maslikhat, at which the three-year budget of the city was approved.Modern containers will help to optimize the use of space, reduce the occupied area, prevent the appearance of unpleasant odors and provide reliable protection from birds and stray animals. Today, 786 such containers have already been installed in the city, which is an important step in creating a cleaner and more comfortable urban space for residents. In addition, in 2024, 1800 plastic euro containers with a volume of 1 m3 were purchased in Almaty for the collection of solid household waste. These containers will be transferred to garbage collection organizations, which will improve waste disposal processes.Recall that in 2012, 197 deep-type container sites were built in Almaty and 1,001 containers were installed. However, over 10 years of operation in an aggressive environment, these containers have undergone significant corrosion. For further operation of containers in Almaty, new products are purchased from a domestic manufacturer, which uses primary food-grade environmentally friendly polyethylene of high quality. These materials comply with international standards, and the production technology allows us to produce containers with a uniform thickness throughout the product, without seams and internal stresses, which significantly increases the reliability, strength and durability of containers.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/898162
