A new "Plan for the development of the electric networks of Almaty until 2030" has been developed in Almaty. The document is aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply, improving energy quality and developing urban energy infrastructure.The electric Grid Development Plan defines a program for the modernization and construction of energy infrastructure facilities, designed for the period up to 2030, with a development perspective up to 2040. As part of the work on the document, a forecast was made for the development of the city's energy system, which will help effectively plan the necessary resources for the next decade.An analysis of the energy industry in Almaty has shown a number of urgent problems and features that need to be addressed in the short term.
