Since the beginning of the year, 95 previously unlit sites have been eliminated in Almaty 27.11.2024
On behalf of the mayor of the city, Yerbolat Dosayev, work continues in Almaty to provide citizens with high-quality outdoor lighting. One of its directions is the elimination of areas where historically there were no street lights. For 10 months of this year, the teams of the Almaty Kala Zharyk State Enterprise illuminated 95 courtyards, streets and alleys, installing more than 500 supports and brackets and the same number of lamps there. The length of the previously unlit sections was 20 kilometers."We have never had lighting in the Kemel microdistrict along Kazanat Street in the Kapshagai highway area. There are a lot of people living here, before everyone got home in the dark. It was especially difficult for schoolchildren and pensioners. After contacting Almaty Kala Zharyk, new lampposts were installed, lighting was connected, it became much more comfortable, for which I am very grateful. Now we live like people," says Bakhyt Arystanova, Chairman of the Kazanat AXIS"Our Mukaeva Street in the Akbulak microdistrict is a dead end, and for some reason there was no street lighting at the very end of it. And a large family lives here, and it was very scary for the students to return from classes in the dark. Lighting was installed very quickly, literally the next day after contacting Almaty Kala Zharyk, a team arrived, dug holes and installed poles. A day later, the lanterns were hung up and connected, and now we have a bright and bright street, it's a real holiday for the residents. A huge human thank you to everyone," says Lunara Sembayeva, a resident of the Alatau district.According to Almaty Kala Zharyk, by the end of the year, 25 more previously unlit streets and alleys will be illuminated in the city. The installation of new light points is carried out at the request of district akimats, which form lists of problem areas. According to them, a work plan and a connection schedule are drawn up. Information is currently being prepared on the elimination of unlit areas for 2025.In general, in just 10 months of this year, more than 27 thousand lamps were installed and replaced in Almaty, about 300 km of cable was stretched, and more than two thousand new lighting poles were installed. 24.5 thousand applications from citizens have been processed, which is 93% of all received. More than 5.5 thousand short circuits and about 4 thousand line breaks have been eliminated. 45 km of lighting on main streets have been repaired.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/891065

These works are carried out within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" and the city campaign "Almaty is our common home".This year, at the initiative of Akim Yerbolat Dosayev, work has been completed in various parts of the city: 7.4 km of irrigation ditches on 15 streets have been reconstructed in the eastern part of Almaty, irrigation ditches and storm sewers with a length of 30.1 km have been updated in the central part on 67 streets, 20.5 km of irrigation ditches have been built in the western part (Alatau, Nauryzbai and Auezov districts). The measures are aimed at improving the hydrological situation, especially in areas with a high risk of flooding. The residents of the city express their gratitude for the work done."We are very glad that the problem with flooding on Polezhaev Street has finally been solved. Previously, in heavy rains, the water rose to the level of the sidewalks and flooded our yards, which created huge inconveniences. But after the work has been done, the water no longer stands on the roads, and we can safely move around even in rainy weather. Thank you to everyone who took part in this important matter!", - thanks a resident of the district Galina."Flooding at the intersection of Makataev and Zhumaliev streets was a real headache for all local residents. In heavy rains, water not only flooded roads, but also got into the basements of houses, creating serious problems. I am very glad that this situation has now been changed - after the work done, the water no longer stagnates. Now we can safely walk and move along the street without fear that it will rain and flood everything again," shares Yerlan, a resident of Zhumalieva Street.Recall that in Almaty, on the eve of the winter period, within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" and the city campaign "Almaty is our common home", a large–scale cleaning of the street and road network, public places, riverbeds, street urns and a ditch network is being carried out.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/890994

The city akimat also provided support in this endeavor."There was an abandoned area behind the building, where there were dumpsters. There was also a large pit near it. The container was removed, and then I brought the land to level the territory," says Yusuf-agha.In addition, he planted thuja and roses in a circle and fenced off the area around the perimeter. A few years ago, Yusuf switched to a lawn along the road, the district akimat removed the deadwood."My father always taught me that there should be order around and beauty where you live and work. People are pleased when everything is clean and tidy," says Yusuf's son Yelnur Huseynov. It is worth noting that about two thousand entrepreneurs have signed a passport of landscaping. Taza Kazakhstan in Almaty: the city is actively updating garbage sites and introducing modern containers 26.11.2024
In Almaty, within the framework of the "Taza Kazakhstan" concept, large-scale work continues to improve the sanitary condition of the city. On behalf of Akim Yerbolat Dosayev, modern buried-type garbage containers are being installed. Since the beginning of the year, 650 buried containers have been installed at 128 sites, and by the end of the year, another 136 will be installed at 14 sites. These containers have a number of advantages: they are completely closed, protected from access by stray animals and birds, eliminate unpleasant odors and improve the appearance of yard areas. In 2025-2026, it is planned to install more than 2,000 buried containers in the city. They have a larger capacity, take up less space and are equipped with fireproof burlaps made of polypropylene material. A special plastic tray at the bottom of the container prevents liquid leakage. New containers have already appeared in Auezov and Bostandyk districts. In Zhetysu district, some installed containers will be serviced after the purchase of appropriate equipment from next year. In the Turksib district, worn-out garbage cans have been replaced with new ones at several sites. Work in this direction continues. Residents note the convenience and aesthetic appearance of the installed containers. "These tanks are not only comfortable, but also have a modern, aesthetic appearance, which significantly improves the appearance of the area. This is an important step towards landscaping, and I urge all residents to show responsibility: let's respect our common work and not leave garbage next to containers," Anastasia, a resident of the Almagul microdistrict, addresses the neighbors. "Previously, iron containers were often corroded, especially in the summer, when high temperatures increased the smell. Now, with the installation of new containers, this problem will finally be solved. We can count on a much cleaner and more comfortable area, where it will be pleasant for all residents to live," said Victoria Gorbunova, a resident of the Bostandyk district. In general, a number of initiatives are being implemented in Almaty to encourage separate waste collection:•more than 1,200 eco-boxes are located in the city's organizations;•There are 11 fandomats for receiving plastic and aluminum bottles;•500 grain waste collection containers have been installed;•There are 8 recycling collection points. Winter start in Almaty with modern harvesting equipment and trained services 25.11.2024
The municipal services of Almaty are actively preparing the urban area for the onset of cold weather and snowfall. From November 25 to November 30, the city will host a Week of cleanliness.Within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" and the city campaign "Almaty is our common home", a large–scale cleaning of the street and road network, public places, riverbeds, street urns and a ditch network will be carried out. In order to ensure quality control of the work performed, monitoring activities have been strengthened. In case of detection of deficiencies and violations, administrative fines and penalties will be applied to contractors within the framework of concluded contracts.By the way, during a press tour at the GKP base at the Almaty Tazalyk PHV, journalists managed to get acquainted with the preparation process, where attention was attracted not only by the latest machines, but also by those who work daily for the benefit of the city, ensuring its cleanliness and uninterrupted operation in the most difficult winter conditions.– This year, 32 units of modern equipment were purchased within the framework of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan". One special equipment can replace an entire team of 20 people, which will significantly speed up the process and increase the efficiency of cleaning," said Yertay Kasenov, Deputy director of the State Enterprise "Almaty Tazalyk". Among the novelties is a powerful sweeper, which, with the help of a modern suction system and brushes, effectively removes debris from roads. The machine is equipped with simultaneous garbage loading technology, which significantly increases the speed of cleaning and reduces the number of stops. This unit is ideal for working both on high streets and in narrow alleys, ensuring thorough cleaning even in the most inaccessible places.Sweeper and sweeperAnother important model is a specialized technique designed to work in winter conditions, which the utilities themselves call "tigers". The main purpose is to remove snow, ice, dust and debris from urban roads and airfields at a harvesting speed of up to 80 km/h. It replaces 4 KAMAZ trucks in terms of performance. The machine is equipped with a system for distributing liquid reagents against ice, which significantly increases safety on highways in winter. It is compact and highly maneuverable. With an external turning radius of 13.7 m, it exceeds all expectations when it comes to flexibility and mobility when cleaning main streets. Equipped with a 5.4m wide snowplow, a 4.2m long brush and a blowing device located in the rear.Specialized equipment designed to work in winter conditions The following equipment is perfect for effective work in conditions of dense urban development. Compact, maneuverable and powerful, this machine is ideal for cleaning narrow streets, courtyards and pedestrian areas. It effectively removes sand, foliage and debris, maintaining order in the most inaccessible places of the city.Urban-Sweeper EquipmentAn important addition to the fleet is a combined road vehicle, which combines several functions. It cleans road surfaces from snow and ice using brushes and plows, and distributes reagents to prevent ice. Due to its versatility, this technique allows you to perform all the necessary winter maintenance work on one equipment, which significantly increases efficiency and reduces cleaning time.Combined Road VehicleAccording to Deputy Director Yertai Kasenov, 605 units of special equipment and about one and a half thousand road workers will work on the streets of the city in winter, which will ensure timely and high-quality cleaning of both roads and sidewalks.– The task of our company is high—quality and timely cleaning of streets and sidewalks from snow and ice. We are already at the start, ready for any challenges of the winter period, and with the new equipment we will be able to cope with the task in the shortest possible time," he said.Employees of municipal services of the city also received specialized training on the operation of new equipment. This is necessary in order to effectively use high-tech machines in winter, ensuring safety and order on the streets of the city. The training included not only the technical aspects of working with new equipment, but also safety rules, as well as maintenance methods, which allows you to guarantee trouble-free operation even in the most difficult weather conditions.– My colleagues and I were trained, where we were explained in detail how to properly operate the equipment, especially in conditions of snowfall and ice. Each machine has its own characteristics, and it is important to know how to use it as efficiently and safely as possible. We work annually to improve the quality of our work. This year, thanks to the new technology, we will be able to work even faster. We are ready to meet the winter with full equipment and a well–coordinated team," said Ivan Cherny, an employee of Almaty Tazalyk.According to Zhanat Zhakupbek, Deputy head of the Municipal Infrastructure Development Department, 841 units of equipment are available in Almaty for the winter period to service the city, 1,400 road workers can be involved in clearing roads and sidewalks. By the forces of 9 contractors, in addition to the State Enterprise "Almaty Tazalyk", sanitary cleaning is carried out from 2318 streets with a total length of over 2.7 thousand km. The daily output of equipment for street cleaning during the daytime is about 600 units and 800 road workers, 220 units of equipment and up to 250 road workers during the night shift.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/889913

The transformation of a favorite place of Almaty residents: Panfilov pedestrian street sparkled with new colors after the current renovation 22.11.2024
The pedestrian street of Panfilov began to play with new colors. In September of this year, work began on its repair in the area between Kabanbai Batyr and Zhibek Zholy streets. This was due to the fact that the paving slabs cracked in places, benches, irrigation system and other elements of landscaping became unusable. As Mayor of the megalopolis Yerbolat Dosayev noted during a working detour of the Almaly district, this street is a favorite place of citizens and guests of Almaty, therefore, attention was paid to every detail in terms of aesthetics and practicality during the repair.Today, the district akimat has replaced two thousand square meters of paving stones, installed 130 benches, 2 playgrounds, replaced 2.6 km of lighting cables and repaired 2 dry fountains. Special attention was paid to landscaping and the creation of living areas. Thus, the green zone has been expanded by 20%."In general, this territory will be decorated with more than 13 thousand shrubs and perennials, such as Japanese spirea, hydrangea and many other plants. We have already planted 39 new trees: small-leaved linden, ornamental apple and pear trees. To protect the sown lawn from the cold and birds, we covered it with cocoa bean husks. They act as fertilizer and give a pleasant smell," said Margarita Balakireva, a representative of the contractor. After the renovation, the space sparkled with new colors, causing positive emotions among the citizens."I can say that the difference is immediately noticeable, it has become more comfortable to move on smooth paving stones, the street has become more cozy. Experts have tried to make the pedestrian zone look beautiful at any time of the day, regardless of the time of the year," one of the residents of the city shared.Alina Kuznetsova, a resident of the district, stressed that she was especially pleased with the new installations and children's areas. "We walk here almost every day, it's great that our favorite fountains have been repaired. In general, everything is done perfectly, the street has become even more beautiful," she added.Another object visited by Yerbolat Dosayev during the detour is a new square at the intersection of Rozybakiev and Duissenov streets, built within the framework of the Budget of People's Participation program.Earlier, the land plot of 0.49 hectares, on which the square is located, was transferred to the entrepreneur for temporary lease. However, the land was not used for its intended purpose, and over time a spontaneous market was formed there, which caused inconvenience to residents of nearby houses. Now paths have been arranged on this site, benches, urns, playgrounds for kids and teenagers with rubber coating have been installed, lighting has been carried out. There is also an automatic irrigation system, a green area in the form of a lawn and 3,585 perennial shrubs."Before that, screams and noise from parking trucks started under the windows in the early morning, and in summer it was impossible to open the window because of various smells. We are glad that the akimat has not only solved the problem of spontaneous trade, but also improved the site. This project has become a kind of decoration of our neighborhood, turning a noisy area into a green square. Now residents and especially children constantly gather here and spend their leisure time," one of the residents of the district shared her opinion.During the meeting with the citizens, Yerbolat Dosayev stressed that work will continue in the metropolis to create safe and green public spaces for recreation and sports. It should be noted that 18.8 billion tenge has been allocated for the program "Budget of People's Participation" this year in the city, which is 5.8 billion tenge more than last year. Almaty residents had the opportunity to propose and implement 364 projects for the improvement of courtyards, public spaces, the creation of sports and playgrounds.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/888994
Large-scale reconstruction of the boiler house and renovation of heating systems: Almaty is already preparing for the next heating season 22.11.2024
The Southern district boiler house in Almaty was built in 1972. Since then, only major and routine repairs of the equipment have been carried out. So, in 2003 and 2015, two of the four hot water boilers were replaced.Last year, the mayor of the city, Yerbolat Dosayev, during an inspection of the southern boiler house, which at that time was in a worn-out condition, instructed to modernize it. Thus, for the first time, the current project provides for the replacement and reconstruction of all four boilers, as well as existing auxiliary equipment.According to the design decisions, the contractor replaced three boilers in 1972, 1982 and 2003, and modernization works were carried out on the fourth hot water boiler. At this stage, pumping units, automation have been installed, gas and auxiliary equipment have been installed, and commissioning has been completed. As a result, the increase in boiler capacity amounted to 55 Gcal/h. After the complete completion of the reconstruction, the total capacity of the boiler house will be 190 Gcal/h.The reconstruction is scheduled to be completed in December this year. The head of the city noted that the renovation of the municipal infrastructure in Almaty is one of the priorities."We have significantly increased the volume of investments in the modernization of the thermal infrastructure, which allows us to ensure stable heat supply in the future. Currently, CHP-1 and CHP-2 consistently supply heat, but we strive to minimize the need for laying new backbone networks. Starting in 2025, we intend to develop local boiler houses that will effectively cover the needs of neighborhoods and neighborhoods. This is more efficient and will significantly reduce maintenance costs, since the repair of distribution networks is much more economical than replacing large-diameter main pipes. The work carried out this year is preparation for the next heating season of 2025-2026," Yerbolat Dosayev said. For example, in 2023, a local boiler house was built in the Nauryzbay district, and construction is also planned in the Turksib district. In addition, the Mayor of Almaty was informed about the modernization of worn-out heating networks in the Bostandyk district, which were put into operation from 39 to 48 years ago, with a standard service life of 25 years. The work has been fully completed on four sites, which are powered by the southern boiler house, with a total length of about 5 km. With the measures taken, residents of 328 apartment buildings, 30 private houses, 11 kindergartens, 4 schools, 4 health facilities and 103 other facilities are provided with high-quality heat supply.Recall that Almaty is actively modernizing engineering networks. This year, 20 km of networks have been reconstructed. Reconstruction of 4 and repair of 81 boiler houses of ATKE LLP has been completed. This made it possible to reduce network wear from 57.9% to 56.1%. The heating season in 2024 was started on October 7, and 100% readiness was ensured. 140% of coal and 100% of fuel oil have been accumulated for the current heating season. In total, 404 educational facilities, 128 healthcare facilities and 8,863 residential buildings are covered.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/888817
