Students of Almaty Construction College have developed the "Smart House" project 15.02.2025
In the city of working professions, students of the Almaty Construction College presented an innovative "Smart House" model developed using Arduino technology. The automation system includes intelligent light sensors that control the switching on and off of the lamp depending on the time, as well as an advanced security system. There are PIR motion sensors, gas and smoke sensors that prevent possible emergencies. And temperature and humidity sensors automatically regulate the operation of the ventilation and heating system, providing a comfortable microclimate. All functions of the "Smart House" can be controlled remotely from a smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. In case of danger, for example, when gas or smoke leaks, the system immediately sends a message, and buzzers and LCD displays warn about the danger. “Our project shows how modern technologies can make housing more comfortable and safe. For example, the system immediately detects a gas leak and sends a message to the owner,” says college student Gabbas Bayazitov. All elements of the system were designed and programmed by the students themselves. The mobile application for managing the “smart home” is available in the Play Market and App Store. This project shows real prospects for installing such technologies in residential buildings, increasing their energy efficiency and safety.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/edu/press/news/details/936261

Then we make a lamination to protect the panel from external influences and fasten it to an aluminum case. At the final stage, we turn on the system and check how efficiently it converts solar energy into electricity,” shared Madi Zhanbolat, a 3rd-year student at the college. This project will not only help students master modern technologies in the field of renewable energy, but also open up prospects for developing their own production of solar panels in Kazakhstan. In addition, senior college students will have the opportunity to undergo paid internships at leading companies.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/edu/press/news/details/936876
All livestock in the Zhetysu region has been "digitized" 15.02.2025
Currently, there are more than 2.3 million livestock in the region, of which about 500 thousand are cattle, 1.6 million. heads of small cattle, and more than 200 thousand horses. All of them are registered in the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals". In general, much attention is paid to the veterinary sector in the region. For example, over the past two and a half years, 49 veterinary points and 1 veterinary station have been built in the region. This year, 20 more such facilities are planned to be built. In addition, digitalization is being widely introduced and used in this sector, - reports the press service of the Zhetysu region akim.According to the regional veterinary department, in the process of digitizing veterinary processes, the "VetLab" and "ISZH-Mobile" modules for diagnosing highly dangerous diseases, which are included in the iszh.gov.kz web portal of the state information system "Database for Identification of Agricultural Animals", are widely used in the region. Similarly, all 34,763 livestock owners registered in the identification database in the region are now fully using the “TortTulik” mobile application. In this regard, special attention is being paid to strengthening the material and technical base to improve the quality and efficiency of the work of veterinary specialists. For example, since the establishment of the region, 45 special vehicles, 217 computers, as well as 238 tablets have been purchased.- Now, after the launch of the “ISZH-Mobile” mobile application of the agricultural animal identification database, tablets have been purchased and delivered to veterinarians. Working with a tablet has significantly simplified and accelerated our work. The work done during visits to large farms and private yards, i.e., registration of livestock, preventive measures, vaccinations, is immediately entered into the database using a tablet. Even in places without Internet access, the data entered on the tablet is automatically sent to the appropriate database immediately in places with Internet access, - says Aigerim Bekbosynova, a veterinarian at the Taldykorgan city veterinary station with veterinary stations, who has been working in this field for almost thirteen years. In addition, the Department of Digital Technologies of the Zhetysu region has included anthrax burial grounds and cattle burial grounds and veterinary stations in the electronic map of the "Zhetysu region Situation Center". Currently, based on the conclusions of the interdepartmental commission, sanitary protection zones of cattle burial grounds are being included in the electronic map. Measures for the development of beef cattle breeding were discussed at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan 15.02.2025
As part of discussions with business representatives on the development of the industry, the Minister of Agriculture A. Saparov met with representatives of the meat livestock industry. During the meeting, the advantages and disadvantages of simplified financing, fiscal instruments for the development of the industry, as well as the regulation of the live livestock market were discussed. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out planned work to increase the effectiveness and transparency of state support. In this regard, it is planned to replace subsidies for selection and breeding work with other support instruments. In particular, the issues of changing the subsidy standards for the sale of livestock to meat processing plants and feedlots and providing the industry with simplified financing are being considered. Meat livestock, like other sectors of the agricultural sector, needs affordable working capital. Therefore, this year the ministry plans to launch a 5% soft loan program for a period of 15 months. In addition, the possibility of financing investment loans at a preferential rate is being discussed. Another important issue is fiscal measures.“In addition to the issue of VAT (Value Added Tax), which is currently being actively discussed, it is necessary to take into account that fiscal instruments contribute to the “coming out of the shadows” of the agricultural products market. In particular, tax incentives can become an advantage for processing enterprises and give an impetus to the collection and processing of wool, leather, fruit and vegetable products,” explained Azamat Shalmagambetov, director of MB4 LLP. The minister noted the need for a comprehensive discussion of tax changes with government agencies and business representatives. In addition, he noted that stimulating measures to “bring out of the shadows” of agricultural products trade is one of the priority areas. One of the important topics of discussion was the increase in prices for meat, especially beef.“The administrative bans and restrictions introduced earlier have had a negative impact on the industry. "As a result of bans and quotas, the profitability of livestock farming has decreased, and some farmers are stopping livestock breeding," said Dauren Salykov, director of the Angus Kazakhstan Republican Chamber. "The increase in meat prices is primarily due to the activity of speculators. They are exporting livestock in various ways. We understand that administrative bans hinder the development of the industry. But in order to open the cattle market, it is important to ensure the stability of the domestic market. We will discuss solutions together, and your suggestions will be considered," said A. Saparov. Following the meeting, expanded discussions will be held with business representatives within the framework of the working group on the development of beef cattle breeding established under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/moa/press/news/details/936933

Due to the need to construct a hydraulic structure at the mouth, a design estimate document has been developed and an application has been submitted for state expertise. When the project is implemented, it will allow irrigating 30 thousand hectares of arable land in the Zhanakorgan district during the growing season. It is planned to increase the introduction of water-saving technologies to 24.2 thousand hectares by 2028 (in 2024 - 4.4 thousand hectares, in 2025 - 9.2 thousand hectares, in 2026 - 14.2 thousand hectares, in 2027 - 19.2 thousand hectares, in 2028 - 24.2 thousand hectares).Last year, the volume of use of water-saving technologies was increased to 4.4 thousand hectares, an increase of 3.5 thousand hectares compared to 2023.The only way to save water in rice farming is laser leveling of the field. Last year, laser leveling was carried out on 55 thousand hectares of rice fields, and in the next 5 years, it is planned to bring it to 72 thousand hectares. In addition, last year, current maintenance work was carried out on 107 water bodies, 1 protective dam and 69 hydraulic structures along the canals under the control of the "Arna" institution. This year, 5 canals are planned to be cleaned.Similarly, in order to temporarily prevent an emergency situation at the "Koltogan" reservoir and provide residents of the "Akuyik" rural district with sufficient water, work was carried out to clean the canal supplying water through the "Arna" institution, raise its dam, repair water barriers, and temporarily restore the reservoir's dam.The head of the region noted that the widespread use of water-saving technologies and the issue of flood prevention should not be left off the agenda.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kyzylorda/press/news/details/935489
Issues of preparation for spring sowing considered 15.02.2025
Today, a Government meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov. The agenda included issues of preparation for spring sowing and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. The regional governor Nurlybek Nalibayev participated in the meeting via selector mode. This year, 190 thousand hectares of agricultural crops will be sown in the region. According to the Government's Roadmap, rice cultivation is set at 80,900 hectares. An additional 5 thousand hectares of rice are planned to be irrigated with mullein water and water saved through laser leveling of the land. Agricultural structures are 100 percent provided with seeds. Of the required 64,600 tons of fertilizer, 11,300 tons are domestically produced.82.2 percent of the 4,046 pieces of equipment on farms have been repaired. The rest will be 100% ready by March 1. The Ministry of Energy has approved 10 thousand tons of diesel fuel. Today, supplier operators have been identified and payments for diesel fuel allocated for February are being made. The planned sowing volume will be re-specified after the meeting of the Interstate Water Management Coordination Commission.A number of measures are being taken to digitize the agro-industrial complex and introduce advanced technologies into the industry. Subsidy processes in the field of crops and livestock are being carried out online through the GosAgro portal. Sale and lease of land plots are carried out electronically through a web portal.Joint projects with foreign companies are being implemented to digitize the industry and implement new projects. The Er-Ali farm installed automated water metering equipment from the Australian company Rubicon Water to digitize irrigation of rice fields and reduce water consumption. This allowed saving up to 20 percent of the volume of irrigation water and increasing productivity.Together with the mentioned company, the project "Digitalization of water distribution and metering for the Left Bank Main Canal", which provides water to 60 percent of the arable land in the region, was launched. Currently, project and estimate documents are being developed and are undergoing examination. In the direction of digitizing agriculture, the full partnership "Abzal and K" will launch a digital rice processing plant worth 1 billion tenge with a capacity of 12 tons per hour this year.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kyzylorda/press/news/details/936495
