The festival of national traditions "Sybaga", which lasted five days, has ended in Aktobe region. On the last day of the festival, Aktobe entrepreneurs distributed treats to almost 1,000 families raising special children, as well as representatives of vulnerable segments of society. Local agricultural organizations that participated in the action slaughtered cattle and distributed meat to families. Each of those who supported those in need welcome the revival of the forgotten tradition of "Sybaga"."Akimat of Aktobe region has been organizing a big project – the Sybaga festival of national traditions for a whole week since the beginning of December. Our traditions and heritage are glorified. Yesterday we slaughtered a camel to contribute to the festival. We will distribute the meat to the people. This is a special tradition of the Kazakh people from time immemorial," businessman Amantai Umbetai said.Youth and volunteers also supported the action. They helped to put the meat divided into equal piles in special boxes with the inscription "Sybaga". The residents who received donations expressed their wishes for the continuation of the festival in the future."My wife is a disabled person of the first group, my daughter has a second group. I grew up in a Kazakh village. With the onset of autumn in November and December, neighbors begin to slaughter cattle and share meat with those in need. If in the villages this tradition is still adhered to, then in the cities it began to be forgotten. I think it would be very appropriate to continue the Kazakh traditions," said Orynbai Uteniyazov, a resident of the city. The event, on the one hand, promoted Kazakh national traditions, and on the other, once again emphasized the importance of supporting weaker segments of the population. 🚀 t.me/aqtobe_oblysy_akimdigiSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/aktobe/press/news/details/898336

Each session confirms the effectiveness of such a format to address the demands and needs of the real economy. It is especially important that these events consistently improve cooperation between science and business, contributing to the promotion of commercialization projects for the production of new, export-oriented products. The accumulated experience of the previous five sessions shows that this format of interaction makes it possible to effectively turn scientific ideas into concrete prototypes and startups capable of competing in the market. Of particular importance is that such a format of interaction improves cooperation between science and business, contributing to the promotion of commercialization projects for the production of new, export-oriented products. This is exactly the result that is necessary to strengthen the competitiveness of the Kazakh economy in the international arena. On the first day of the session, the scientists discussed the situation related to groundwater pollution of the Kokzhide field due to the influence of oil production. This problem raises serious concerns for the preservation of the ecological state of this deposit, therefore, the public is actively involved in protecting the groundwater of Kokzhide from further pollution. The participants of the session expressed the hope that effective solutions and measures to preserve the quality of groundwater will be presented during the event.– This is another attempt to find a common understanding with subsoil users and come to joint work that will ensure the safety of the water resource, which, unfortunately, is not fully used, – says Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology of the K.Zhubanov ARU, Candidate of Biological Sciences Akylzhan Teleuov. – I believe that the most important issue at today's session is the beginning of the full development of the Kokjide. Our university intends to conduct a comprehensive biosystem study, including all adjacent natural components, which will allow us to understand the general state of the current ecosystem and develop effective water management strategies. On the second day, the session participants engaged in the joint search and development of scientific and technological solutions necessary for carrying out work at the Kokzhide groundwater deposit, as well as sharing experiences and best practices, which contributes to the creation of innovative ideas for the effective use and protection of water resources in the region.Interim results of geoecological and hydrogeological studies of KazNITU named after Satpayev and KazEnergy were also presented. Representatives of leading global companies such as Schlumberger, Halliburton and Baker Hughes of SNPC-AMG JSC shared their experience in the development of such deposits. In addition, the participants of the event visited the production sites of Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP to familiarize themselves with the work processes. The event was an important step in the development of scientific and technical cooperation and the search for effective solutions to the problems of environmental pollution and improvement of water resources.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/sci/press/news/details/898276

Aidarbek Saparov: In addition to spring field and harvesting, tools at 5% should be extended to other key areas of the agro-industrial complex 07.12.2024
During the Parliamentary hearings in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issue "Food security is the main component of national security", Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov announced the need to distribute tools with a preferential rate of 5%, except for spring field and harvesting operations and other key areas. In order to meet the current needs of farmers, with the support of the Government, the Ministry is working to saturate the industry with affordable preferential financial resources. These measures allow farmers not only to purchase the necessary materials and equipment in a timely manner, but also to reduce the cost of production, thereby increasing its price and quality attractiveness. Thus, this year 580 billion tenge was allocated for spring field and harvesting operations, of which 400 billion tenge were private investments. In 2025, the volume of financing is planned to increase to 700 billion tenge, while the level of extra-budgetary funds will be increased to 560 billion tenge."For the first time, financing started at the end of November. As of today, a pool of applications from 695 agricultural producers has been formed in the amount of 85 billion tenge. Currently, preferential borrowed funds are allocated only for spring field and harvesting operations. However, we believe that such instruments with a preferential rate of 5% should be extended to other key areas of the agricultural sector. It is especially important to support the development of animal husbandry, processing of agricultural products, including hides and wool, as well as investment areas of the industry," the minister said. The implementation of these initiatives will be an important step in strengthening food security and will give an additional impetus to the development of rural areas.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/moa/press/news/details/897861
In Kazakhstan, the security of 24 main types of food products is 80-100% 07.12.2024
This was announced by Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov during Parliamentary hearings in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issue "Food security is the main component of national security."The Ministry is monitoring the availability of the main types of food products, including 19 socially significant ones.By the end of 2023, the domestic market is 100% or more secured for 10 commodity items, including wheat flour, salt, bread, rice, pasta, sunflower oil, potatoes, lamb, beef and carrots. The availability of 14 food products is 80% or more, including chicken eggs, cucumbers, horse meat, tomatoes, milk, buckwheat groats, cabbage, pepper, pork, onions, beets, fermented dairy products, butter and apples. However, import dependence is observed for 5 food products. In particular, these are poultry meat, sausages, fish, cheeses and cottage cheese, as well as sugar.According to these commodity items, the Ministry is systematically working to increase production and import substitution. The task of strengthening food security is planned to be solved through the implementation of investment projects.By 2027, it is planned to implement 780 investment projects worth 2.3 trillion tenge, including 170 projects worth 855 billion tenge for import-dependent goods. In addition, 69 MTFs have already been funded to saturate the domestic market with dairy products as part of the program for replicating the experience of North Kazakhstan Region."If over the past 10 years only 78.5 billion tenge has been attracted to the dairy industry, then only in the last year private investments in the industry amounted to 100 billion tenge. To stimulate the inflow of investments, the number of lending areas under the program for replicating the experience of North Kazakhstan region has been increased to 13, 200 billion tenge is provided for these purposes in 2025. It also provides for direct subsidization of long-term money for investment purposes and attraction of funds from commercial banks for all sectors of agriculture," Aidarbek Saparov noted about the measures taken.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/moa/press/news/details/897863
