The grain operator purchases wheat of the 4th class from farmers at a price in the range from 55 to 65 thousand tenge, barley - at 50 thousand tenge per ton.Direct purchase is carried out in stages. At the first stage, applications are accepted from farms whose sown area of wheat and barley does not exceed 500 hectares. At the second stage, they are joined by agricultural enterprises whose sown area of wheat and barley is 1,000 hectares or more. At the same time, the total volume of grain purchased from one agricultural enterprise ranges from 300 to 700 tons. Such a restriction is introduced in order to meet the needs for state support for as many farms as possible.It was initially planned to allocate 10 billion tenge for the direct purchase of grain. The food corporation increased the financing of the program by 3 billion tenge from its own reserve.
