Another residential area has been connected to gas in Astana 30.11.2024
The planned gasification of residential areas continues in the capital. The construction of gas distribution networks planned for 2024 has been completed in the Urker residential area. About 1000 subscribers were able to connect to natural gas. Connecting gas to the Urker residential area will significantly improve the quality of life of local residents, providing them with environmentally friendly and efficient heat supply.Among the first subscribers are residents of Aktamberdy Zhyrau Street, who were the first to feel the benefits of natural gas."We were waiting for the connection to gas, and finally, today is the first day we switch to natural gas. Before that, we heated it with coal. Every 6-12 hours it was necessary to monitor the boiler room, fill the coal. They couldn't leave the house unattended for a long time. Now this issue will no longer bother us. The batteries are very warm at home, the hot water is running normally. We are very glad!" - says the owner of the house Baigarim Khasenov. The process of gasification of the residential area takes place in stages. In two years, 5,250 subscribers of ZHM Urker, including residents of private houses and residential complexes, will have the opportunity to use natural gas."Today's connection of the first subscribers to Urker is, in fact, a historic moment. In 2025-2026, all private houses and residential complexes located here will have access to gas. Gasification will ensure the safety of homes, it is much more environmentally friendly and accessible to people," said Sarsengali Akzholov, Deputy Akim of the Nura district of Astana."Gasification in Urker has gained momentum thanks to the initiative of the Head of State "Tariff in exchange for investments". We have laid all engineering networks at our own expense, and we will refund the costs according to the tariff system. Here I would like to note that the gas tariff is 38 tenge per cubic meter. This is an affordable price for residents, which we will keep. We plan to receive the main income from large legal entities," said Zhanibek Mukhambetaly, Director of Qazaq zhylu LLP.In total, 173 kilometers of gas networks are planned to be built for the gasification of Urker. At the moment, about a third of the planned work has been completed. This project is an important part of Astana city's strategy to improve infrastructure and create comfortable conditions for the population. The launch of natural gas in the residential area became possible thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Akimat of Astana, the Ministry of Energy, JSC "Qazaq Gaz Aimaq" and LLP "Qazaq Zhylu".Earlier, the Akimat completed the construction of two gasification lines, which made it possible to connect consumers in the Saryarka districts (railway Koktal-1, Koktal-2, Agro-town and in the old part of the city near Potanin Street) of Almaty (Railway, Industrial, South-East right side, South-East left side, Kuigenzhar, Michurino, International, as well as in two neighborhoods "Akbidai", "Kazakhauyl") Yesil (Vella Village railway station, Courchevel railway station, Family Town, Family Park) and Nura (Budapest railway station, Cosmic City). The construction of gas supply networks to the Turan, Telman, Yugo-Vostok gas heating stations and to the residential areas Urker, Prigorodny, Family Village, Ondiris, and Kirpichny was also completed.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/astana/press/news/details/893680

The opening was timed to coincide with the Railway Worker's Day. But, like many infrastructure facilities of that time, the road did not stand the test of time. By the mid-1990s, it was closed, and by 2000, the roadbed was completely dismantled by local residents. However, after more than two decades, the children's railway was restored. Back on June 5, 2023, Akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhayev announced a plan to revive the children's railway during an off-site CCS press conference in the region. The railway will pass through the picturesque places of the island, offering passengers the opportunity to enjoy the unique natural landscapes and beautiful views of the Irtysh River. At the first stage, the length of the road will be about 2 km — from the bridge to the island to the Biological Center. The Kambar Machine-Building Plant, specializing in diesel locomotives and other railway equipment, was engaged in the production of wagons. Each carriage is 12 meters long and has 32 seats. If the popularity of the route increases, it will be possible to order additional wagons. The Children's Railway will become not only a place of entertainment, but also an important educational project that will contribute to the development of young people's interest in railway transport and professions related to it. The management of KTZ expressed readiness to provide support in training the necessary personnel. Moreover, it is planned to create a special children's club where students will be able to learn the basics of the railway profession.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/abay/press/news/details/893661

Face ID system in Astana polyclinics: how the innovation works 30.11.2024
A pilot project has been launched in 47 polyclinics in Astana, within the framework of which digital technologies for patient identification are being introduced in medical institutions. Among them is the city polyclinic No. 7, the official website of the capital's akimat reports with reference to Elordainfo.kz .The biometric identification system was introduced into the medical institution on November 1 of this year. One of the key elements of the innovation is the use of Face ID technology to confirm the patient's identity during admission, as well as the ability to pass verification through a 6-digit number received through the eGov mobile application. When a patient comes to see a doctor, a small camera located on the desktop scans his face and compares it with the database of the Complex Medical Information System Damumed. If a match could not be established from the photo, the patient is asked to log into the eGov application and name a special code. If the data does not match, the reception will not be counted."This system has proven itself in terms of patient safety. Patient identification has become much easier, and we additionally compare the data with an identity card," said Akdidar Ualieva, head of patient support and internal examination at the polyclinic.According to the Department of Public Health of the capital, the system ensures accurate recording of medical services rendered, excluding the possibility of falsification of patient visit reports. This, in turn, helps to prevent misuse of both budget funds and funds paid by insured citizens. The Department assured patients that data leakage is impossible — the recorded photo is deleted automatically after identification and is not stored in the medical information system. As part of the pilot project, a Patient Support Service was organized in medical organizations, where specialists are ready to provide all the necessary information and answer any questions that arise. It is planned that thanks to the new system, public confidence in the healthcare system will increase. Patients will no longer find records of medical services in their mobile apps that they believe were not provided. The project involves both city organizations and private clinics that have signed an agreement with the Social Health Insurance Fund. By the end of the year, the pilot project will give the first results in Astana, and from January 1, it is planned to gradually expand the system to the entire territory of the republic.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/astana/press/news/details/893602
